I’ve been using a large keyboard for years, and thought this would be great for just games & putting around when I don’t need a number pad. The mechanics of the keyboard might not be technically perfect but boy does it feel great! I’ve been typing on keyboards since the Atari 800 & have an original IBM AT keyboard & an Apple Extended II that I use for the mechanical feel. I also picked up an original spec IBM keyboard redesigned for USB from a company in Florida that’s a tank and feels amazing. The problem is the size! When I put this little beauty on my desk, it was like opening the windows in a room; so much space! And it does feel wonderfully mechanical- you can even pull the switches with the included puller and replace them later on - sort of a starter kit for a DIY keyboard of your own design. And the colors are nice - I just set it to a universal solid color but you can do all sorts of things not mentioned in the box - like individual key colors besides the included effects and mixups. There’s some pretty cool ‘sonar’ effects too, but it’s distracting :) nice to have the option though! Overall, this is a great value and improved gaming just because of the space it gives you back! Highly Recommended!

I initially picked one of these up as a spare/backup. Ive gone through other keyboards that were much more expensive and this one has lasted much longer than the big name ones I had before. While fancy and fully programmable lighting is neat, I would rather have a keyboard that works consistently day in and out and does not start having dead keys in under a year. This one delivers at 1/3 the price.

My main keyboard is a Corsair K95 with red switches. It’s a great keyboard but I wanted something smaller that I could travel with easily (to work remotely) so I bought this Redragon keyboard with brown switches. After working on it for a few days I was surprised at how much I enjoy typing on it; it’s a well made, well designed keyboard that is also customizable (with hot swap switches). I got back from my trip and used my Corsair again, and have ended up moving that aside to work with this. I think I’ll end up getting another redragon keyboard

RGB lighting is great. Theres also a customization option for your preference too. For what I paid for, its more than enough. I set up my own color scheme settings for games like Fortnite. When Im just doing work, I have the simple one color layout. I wish the lighting option for one of the settings was always on (when you press a key it lights up) but a different color. Theres plenty of other different preset lighting options too as well as the choice of colors. I got the blue switches and they feel fine. It has been some time so I cant say if they click as well as they used to but they still do overall. Still feels pretty good although mushy at times (thats why you clean it though). My keyboard came with one scratch but I dont really mind it (just not for future purchases) as it works perfectly fine. Note that the also saves a lot of room. I wish Redragon made 60% keyboards or wireless ones because Id totally invest in that. One thing I would hope for if they ever improve on this product is to have the cord coming from the left side as it makes it easier to game. It would also help if it was detachable (braided could help too but thats not really a big deal). Make sure to clean your keyboard every now and then!

The keys sound loud, if you dont want to disturb someone I recommend you to look for other less noisy options bcz this is an earthqueake

I should start this review by stating that this keyboard seems to be of good quality, and fells great to type on. The lighting effects are really nice, although not terribly useful to me, as I dont generally type in the dark. The one thing that I somehow missed about this keyboard, while doing my research on Amazon, is that this keyboard completely lacks a number pad. It isnt advertised as having a number pad. The pictures dont show a number pad. I just plain overlooked it, while comparing a dozen or more keyboards online. That makes the keyboard virtually useless, to me, but for others, it would be a fine keyboard. Im not returning it, because the problem is mine. Ill use it as a backup or something. The reason Ive knocked it down to 4 stars is that the ergonomics on this keyboard are terrible. Thats almost entirely a function of the small form factor, so its understandable, but typing for long periods can be a little uncomfortable, but Ill bet you arent buying a perfectly rectangular, mechanical, lighted keyboard for its ergonomics, are you?

If you like the click this keyboards got it quite loudly too actually! Similar to cherry blues. the RGB has some beautiful effects and if you can get the software working it even has programmable macros and custom key colors. That being said the keys arent the brightest things out there but its not so dim theyll struggle to be visible in the daylight. The whites arent really too white however looking a lot more like a pinkish color and some Rainbow modes utilize these giving the keyboard a unique sort of pastel rainbow look yet other ones use a more typical rainbow color scheme. One of my particular favorite modes is where a circle of light will bloop from your keypress every time you press a key and when you type fast it can make for quite the light show. Overall a great value for your money and I would recommend this keyboard... If you dont mind having to go to the Brazilian version of Redragons website to download the official software... which, strangely enough, is in english., but also has to run in compatibility and as an administrator. Summing everything up nice lil keyboard and Im really enjoying the clickity clackity feel, and also a very good value here would highly recommend

Build quality on this board is outstanding for its price point. There is literally ZERO board flex when typing, extremely solid and rigid construction. I bought this board as I purchased a SteelSeries Apex 5 and for half the price; this this is built WAY better than the Apex 5 - kind of unreal when this K552 MSRPs for $40-$45 USD and the Apex 5 for $99 USD. Comes in either linear Red or clicky & tactile Blue switches. Swapped out the keycaps with some Havit pudding PBT keycaps and the RGB is pretty killer when you do that. All in all, have zero regrets on this purchase. Blows away boards that are even double its price when it comes to build quality and value. Only con is the lack of dedicated media keys; which you can find on other TKL boards. Personally, this does not bother me with this board as they have an included function key to use for shortcuts to your traditional media keys.

This keyboard is amazing! That is basically all I can say about it. I have had it for a few days, (will update if needed) and I already love it! Typing on it is so comfortible and feels like pillows on your fingers. The actuation force is perfect in my opinion and the clicky clacky sound is so satisfying (especially coming from a quiet membrane keyboard). I didnt really use the number pad at all so this tenkeyless keyboard is really nice for saving space. I got the fully RGB edition for $59.99, and it was definitely worth it! Right when I picked up the box I knew it is very good quality because of the weight. I took it out of the box and it felt really nice to the touch, and seems like it should be atleast $100. It also looks amazing with the RGB leds with all of the awesome different functions and colors. I was just using a membrane keyboard and have never had a mechanical keyboard before, nor have I even felt one. Already, I can tell I am in love with mechanical keyboards, I am typing this review with the keyboard right now and I dont want to stop typing because it feels sooo good! If you are looking for a fairly cheap mechanical keyboard, go with this one! It is definitely worth every penny, plus some. I would recommend if you like having different colored backlighting on your keyboard and have $60 to spend, then go with the RGB edition. I hit FN + end twice and customized the leds to the Seahawks colors. Go hawks! I did free shipping because I wasnt in a rush to get it (even though I wanted it as soon as possible) and it came in just about 7 days/1 week. Im sorry for the length of this review (if you are even reading this anymore please click the helpful button below) and I guess im gonna have to stop typing on this keyboard for now:( Anyway, I very highly recommend this keyboard! Have a good day. *UPDATE* I wanted to add that I figured out how to turn on the leds when the computer is shut down. All you have to do is either hold the FN button until it turns on or press FN + END or whatever so it will turn on. So now whenever I turn my pc off I Turn the leds on for something to look at. You can also change all the leds just like when the pc is on and even do the FN + END/5 and customize the leds. I just wanted to update the review so if anyone wanted to know if you could do that, well now you know. Also, the keyboard is holding up really good and I am still super happy with my purchase.
