Ive gotten into mechanical keyboards and have purchased several switches and keycaps. I purchased a couple of these keyboards for my kids, together with Drop MT3 keycap sets. They work all right, and the blue switches that came included in the prebuilt keyboard are OK, but not great. Theres been a boom on custom switches and theres a lot of brands and models. This allows you to change how the keyboard feels when typing and also how it sounds. For instance: - Switches with different spring strengths will affect how hard you have to press the keys, - Switches with different actuation points will affect how far you have to press before a keystroke is recognized by the PC - Switches of different materials will also affect how smooth they feel when traveling... - Different designs and quality of switches will affect how wobbly the keys feel (left-right or top-bottom movement)... In my opinion, the greatest variety of switches currently available are Cherry MX compatible. My problem with these keyboards is that they have sockets designed for Outemu switches (which are cheaper and possibly less durable than Cherry MX), and these sockets are not compatible with the majority of Cherry MX compatible switches out there. In my case, Ive already got a couple hundred switches from Cherry, Kailh and Gateron, which cant be used on this keyboard model. So, be warned that, if you want to change the switches and customize this particular keyboard, you will need to purchase Outemu or Gazzew switches

Ive owned this keyboard for over a year now. I still use it to this day and Im super used to it. I would say that it is very comfortable and I like the different RGB lights and settings/customization of them. I even eventually swapped some keys. Note that it has blue switches, though, and I would say that it is quite loud. If you dont mind that, though, this keyboard is good.

Starting with the positives, this is a fantastic keyboard for the price. The outemu blue switches feel nice and responsive, and the clickety clack is quite wonderful. My only other mechanical keyboard uses cherry mx browns, which are definitely quite different than the experience this one provides! The main issue I have with this model is the metallic pinging that occurs when hitting different keys. Looking up other reviews for this keyboard online, its something thats fairly frequently mentioned, and its definitely noticeable. The harder you hit the keys, the louder this metallic ringing becomes as you type, and itll be very noticeable coming from a quieter keyboard! Apparently its an issue with the springs inside the keyboard, as well as the frame itself, so theres not really a super easy fix for this. Just something to be aware of, as it can definitely be a bit of a dealbreaker if youre in for a nice uninterrupted clickety clack! Also of note is that Redragon offers a piece of software on their website for customizing the RGB lighting beyond whats offered with the 6 presets.

If you like the click this keyboards got it quite loudly too actually! Similar to cherry blues. the RGB has some beautiful effects and if you can get the software working it even has programmable macros and custom key colors. That being said the keys arent the brightest things out there but its not so dim theyll struggle to be visible in the daylight. The whites arent really too white however looking a lot more like a pinkish color and some Rainbow modes utilize these giving the keyboard a unique sort of pastel rainbow look yet other ones use a more typical rainbow color scheme. One of my particular favorite modes is where a circle of light will bloop from your keypress every time you press a key and when you type fast it can make for quite the light show. Overall a great value for your money and I would recommend this keyboard... If you dont mind having to go to the Brazilian version of Redragons website to download the official software... which, strangely enough, is in english., but also has to run in compatibility and as an administrator. Summing everything up nice lil keyboard and Im really enjoying the clickity clackity feel, and also a very good value here would highly recommend

The keyboard was very nice just kind of difficult to click all of the keys without your fingers pressing others. It’s slightly loud but not extremely annoying. Overall nice product and worth the money.

So, this review is after immediately unboxing the keyboard, but Ill be updating it if I have any issues with it. This thing took me less than three minutes to hook up, and find a light setting that is fitting to my taste! Some questions of mine that have been answered after pulling the trigger on this thing is: Q: Does the RGB option give me more options than just those three colors? A: Yes. I was able to scroll through a plethora of color options, and have many choices to choose from. This is fitting to my ever changing taste. Q: Does it come with all the required equipment? A: Yes, and no... So I saw an unboxing video of this keyboard on youtube that made it look like it came with a key cap puller AND a switch puller. Mine simply came with just a cap puller, but I would assume a switch set would come with a puller, so Im not too worried about it. Besides, Im lucky to even have it the keyboard itself seeing as when I got home, the package was sitting opened for the world to see on my doorstep... Thats more than likely the mails fault, and not the sellers though. Some little nit-picky things I have about the product. 1. It has a dedicated Windows emblem key that acts as the Command key on a Mac. An optional keycap would be awesome seeing as this product works on both systems, but Im really not all that tore up about it. It is rather hefty in weight, but that makes the experience all that much better seeing as it really holds the keyboard in place if you have to use it in your lap for whatever reason! This is my first Mechanical keyboard, and I have done extensive research that all led back to this being my best starting point. Ill be re-reviewing this one year out to see if my opinions have at all changed. :) Big thank you to this company for putting this product out there. Yall rock!!!

El teclado es fantástico tanto al tacto como estéticamente, pero lo que no me gusto es el sonido metálico que es bastante notorio en la teclas del centro del mismo y es muy ruidoso pero eso me gusta

I initially picked one of these up as a spare/backup. Ive gone through other keyboards that were much more expensive and this one has lasted much longer than the big name ones I had before. While fancy and fully programmable lighting is neat, I would rather have a keyboard that works consistently day in and out and does not start having dead keys in under a year. This one delivers at 1/3 the price.
