> 3 dayIve gotten into mechanical keyboards and have purchased several switches and keycaps. I purchased a couple of these keyboards for my kids, together with Drop MT3 keycap sets. They work all right, and the blue switches that came included in the prebuilt keyboard are OK, but not great. Theres been a boom on custom switches and theres a lot of brands and models. This allows you to change how the keyboard feels when typing and also how it sounds. For instance: - Switches with different spring strengths will affect how hard you have to press the keys, - Switches with different actuation points will affect how far you have to press before a keystroke is recognized by the PC - Switches of different materials will also affect how smooth they feel when traveling... - Different designs and quality of switches will affect how wobbly the keys feel (left-right or top-bottom movement)... In my opinion, the greatest variety of switches currently available are Cherry MX compatible. My problem with these keyboards is that they have sockets designed for Outemu switches (which are cheaper and possibly less durable than Cherry MX), and these sockets are not compatible with the majority of Cherry MX compatible switches out there. In my case, Ive already got a couple hundred switches from Cherry, Kailh and Gateron, which cant be used on this keyboard model. So, be warned that, if you want to change the switches and customize this particular keyboard, you will need to purchase Outemu or Gazzew switches

> 3 dayIf youre like me you love the clicks and clacks of a mechanical keyboard, youll be happy to know this keyboard satisfies that love. Not only does it sound great when typing it feels very fluid to type and game on. I will say it can be loud and your online friends may complain about the noise but who cares as long as youre satisfied. As far as the RGB lighting, BEAUTIFUL, with 18 different color combinations and animations you will never get sick of looking down at this beauty. As far as functionality it has worked like a charm ever since buying it about 3 months ago. I have experienced a few instances of keys not responding when holding down multiple keys at a time which can suck if its life or death in a game but it is so infrequent that when it happens you barely think twice. The quality of this keyboard is unquestionable and it being a cheaper option than many other Mechanical Keyboards out there it is definitely on par with them despite the price. If you are looking to get into Mechanical keyboards or you just want a new one I highly suggest this one. I was torn between this and a more expensive one that happened to be black in color and I have to say once this thing arrived and I saw that white keyboard with the Grey Key linings I never thought twice that I made the wrong purchase. Great product, would buy again if given the chance.

> 3 dayThis is just my second mechanical keyboard. The first was RK ROYAL KLUDGE RK61 Wireless 60% Mechanical Gaming Keyboard. I can only compare it to that model. I use this keyboard for typing and light gaming (Nothing that requires accurate and fast reactions) Keys: pressing the keys feels a bit plasticky. Less satisfying than the other keyboard. The keys feel lighter with less resistance when pressed Structure: This keyboard feels sturdy and heavy. This is not a toy. The keys on the right (arrows, DEL,END PGDN etc) float on the board without frame. It looks like some part is missing but it is more an appearance issue. RGB: Nice, colorful and with enough options to satisfy my humble needs and then some. Software: Unusable. Did not run on my PC (Win10) Its a good keyboard for its price with good features and decent quality.

> 3 dayI’ve been using a large keyboard for years, and thought this would be great for just games & putting around when I don’t need a number pad. The mechanics of the keyboard might not be technically perfect but boy does it feel great! I’ve been typing on keyboards since the Atari 800 & have an original IBM AT keyboard & an Apple Extended II that I use for the mechanical feel. I also picked up an original spec IBM keyboard redesigned for USB from a company in Florida that’s a tank and feels amazing. The problem is the size! When I put this little beauty on my desk, it was like opening the windows in a room; so much space! And it does feel wonderfully mechanical- you can even pull the switches with the included puller and replace them later on - sort of a starter kit for a DIY keyboard of your own design. And the colors are nice - I just set it to a universal solid color but you can do all sorts of things not mentioned in the box - like individual key colors besides the included effects and mixups. There’s some pretty cool ‘sonar’ effects too, but it’s distracting :) nice to have the option though! Overall, this is a great value and improved gaming just because of the space it gives you back! Highly Recommended!

Greater than one weekGreat keyboard for the price. The only thing I dont like is that I move it around a lot between the table and the couch and given theres no bezel around the outside its nearly impossible to pick up one handed which is annoying. Outside of that I think they are a great value.

> 3 dayThis keyboard is great for the price. Nice and clicky, and easy to configure. Took off one star only because a couple of the best reactive modes when you type only allow this pastel color pallette that isnt nearly as good as the deeper rainbow pallet.

> 3 dayBought this keyboard to try out a tkl. I figured it was only $45 dollars so why not. After spending a week using it I can confidently say that this is probably the best keyboard you will get for the money you pay. Its made of plastic but has a metal plate with plastic casing around it for a solid build. Little to no flex. The switches are great. Ive had blues for a long time and I cant really feel a difference in the two. The sound is more like a green switch but the feel is like a blue. They key caps are double shot with a little texture on it. Definitely wasnt expecting decent key caps at this price. The key presses feel solid and of good quality. The stabilizers for the keys are very high quality and are similar to what you would see on a corsair board. There is little to no wiggle at all on the shift key when pressed down. The back lighting is great for this price point. It has well over 10 different lighting modes including solid color back light. To get the solid color back lighting all you do is push FN+ins three times then FN+ right arrow to select the color. There is not a solid white color but there is a light blue. To get per key lighting you have to push FN+tilde key (the key just to the left of the the number 1 key) twice, then use FN+right arrow to select the color, then press the key you want that color on. This is not mentioned in the user manual so I figured I would put it in this review. There are floating keys on this board but they are enclosed by a plastic casing around the perimeter. However, the keys are left open in the middle making it super easy to clean. The only thing this keyboard truly lacks is a detachable cable (I almost took a star off for that. Its the only thing I dislike about this board). Overall this keyboard is well worth the money and I would have easily paid $60 dollars for it. That is all, thanks.

> 3 dayGOOD This keyboard is decent. One of the main reasons I bought it is because of the great RGB, which I still appreciate, and the satisfying mechanical switches. The feet also put the keyboard at a great angle, although I wish a wrist rest was included. The whole package is at an extremely competitive price, offering premium features like mechanical switches and full RGB at $40. The switches are hot swappable too, but buying a new set of switches would be more money than this entire keyboard (because china). BAD A downside, though: the mechanical switches are ridiculously loud. Even if you watch YouTube reviews of this keyboard, the sound tests dont do it justice. The Outemu Blue switches are noticeably louder than even their close cousins such as Cherry MX Blue switches, and this makes it hard to work at night because you are afraid of disturbing your familys rest. I would have preferred Outemu Browns, which are tactile and quiet, but unfortunately those are a bit more expensive than Outemu Blues and Redragon decided to cheap out. DISGUSTING Every day at some point, this keyboard just decides to stop working. The lights all turn off, and this is when I know the keyboard has gone on its daily workers strike. I unplug and plug back in, the lights turn on again for a tantalizing, mocking, second, then turn back off. So every day, I have to reboot my WHOLE computer just so my keyboard will work again. This is not the case with any previous keyboards Ive had nor any mice, headsets, speakers, etc. Its just the keyboard. Most of the time you can swap out the cable to solve the problem, but oh no, guess Redragon didnt want to spend the extra, like, 25 cents to make the cable detachable. OVERALL This is a good keyboard, but the crapping out issue is very annoying. It seems that this is a good keyboard, but is held back because Redragon didnt want to include an option for 1. a detachable cable 2. different switches. Otherwise, though, a very solid keyboard, especially for the price.
