> 24 hourThis is my first mechanical keyboard. It is certainly different from any other keyboard Ive ever used. The keyboard itself is very heavy, solid, and stable. I have the VATA model with brown switches. While they arent a clicky style, the mechanical design still has a solid hit as the key bottoms out and there is a click to that. I will be ordering O-rings to see if that will make a softer landing. Overall, I really like the feel. The keys are backlit. The keyboard has 18 backlighting patterns that can easily be selected. Most of them seem kind of silly, but I do like the pattern that slowly morphs the entire keyboard from one color to another. It illuminates the keys without being distracting, and looks nice at the same time. I guess you can customize the backlighting as well but I havent bothered with that. There are some macro keys that I have also not had a chance to use yet. All programming is local to the keyboard, no need to run a separate program on the computer. It has a roller that defaults to controlling the audio volume on the computer. I believe it can also be repurposed, but volume seems like a good use for it. It comes with eight spare switches, two each of four different styles: brown, black, red, and blue, plus a key puller and a switch puller. This is great - it gives me the chance to replace broken switches if necessary and I can try out different switch types. The user manual is a bit deceiving - it has 80 small pages, but it is multilingual and only contains four pages of useful information in English. Overall this is a great quality keyboard at a good price. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to give mechanical keyboards a try without breaking the bank.

> 24 hourUPDATE: The company sent me a replacement keyboard however, they were able to walk me through replacing the key on the board. I was able to replace my D key and its working as normal. Thanks for the follow up. Ive had this keyboard for 3 months and its going to be heading to the trash soon. The D Key is starting to fail regularly. I dont even use this keyboard for gaming, so normal use. Unfortunate considering I have another keyboard from RedDragon that I use exclusively for gaming and it never has any issues.

> 24 hourBig fan of this company. Originally discovered them by buying their mouse.. assumed the keyboard would be just as good... Exceeded expectations. There are 18 lighting effects and theyre all pretty dang cool i didnt know which one to go with.. from raindrops to tornado. Christmas.. you can customize each key if you want. You can open the color pallete on the keyboard to select a solid color.. the keys sound great. Theyre a bit raised compared to mg other one but doesnt take away from performance.. definitely satisfied all around. Will continue to go through this company.

> 24 hourBuilding a new gaming PC and wanted a new mechanical keyboard to round out the build and after researching a multitude of keyboards I picked this one up. I wanted the loud clickey Blue switches. I love the way this one sounds when typing on it. Just like the keyboards did back in the 80s when I was a kid. Its not for everyone and definitely not for the office. The switches are really nice and responsive and there really isnt any key wobble. Its got a good weight to it so its not sliding around on the desk when hammering on it playing shooters. I wasnt really interested in the RGB part of it but it does add a nice effect when playing in low light or a dark room. Overall for a budget mechanical keyboard I think youd be hard pressed to find something better in this price range. You can get it with different switch options so if youre not into the loud clickey Blues, you can get Reds and Browns. It comes with 8 extra switches (2 Blue 2 Red 2 Brown and 2 Black) so you can try out different ones. Will be ordering a couple more for my kids gaming rigs.

> 24 hourThis keyboard is amazing and is great to use. The keys are curved a bit and makes it simple to type and use during gaming. The macro keys are exactly what I need and are easy to set up and use. The media keys and volume wheel feels like great durability. The lights on the keys and base are good quality. The metal base is sturdy. Overall superb keyboard. The software from their website does not install so I am forced to customize using the keys on the keyboard, which is a pain. If the software was better then this keyboard would be perfect.

> 24 hour--Update-- Customer service has replied to my email and recorded a personalized video of them explaining how to replace the switches. This is amazing customer service and as a result I moved my review from a 2 star to 4 star as most of my issues were that customer service wasnt responding to me. Unfortunately, their advice did not work and I still ended up destroying a few switches attempting to pull them out. --Original Review-- First of all, I think this keyboard is amazing for the value. The switches feel crisp and the construction feels solid. This keyboard is heavy and it feels sturdy which will hold up well to typing and gaming. My first minor issue is a lack of a dedicated mute button. I have a corsair keyboard and an azio keyboard which both have dedicated mute buttons which I think is critical when you have something like a volume wheel. There is one as a function key on F4 but there is room next to the volume wheel where one could be as well. Another issue is that the hot swappable switches are not really swappable. I have tried numerous times to remove the switches to try out some of the included sample switches and every time I break the one I am pulling out. I tried reaching out to customer support to see if maybe I was doing something wrong but I have not heard anything back. My final issue with this keyboard are the switches, the board I purchased has the outemu blues. Im not sure if its Outemu switches overall (this is my first board with these switches. I have a board with genuine cherry mx blue switches and another with kailh blue switches) but these switches have a distinct ping sound when typing. This is one of the reasons I would love to swap these switches out for a different type but as of right now I cant pull any switches out without breaking them.

> 24 hourEdit: The company reached out to give a full refund rather quickly, so while I wasnt happy with the keyboard, I can at least say that you can expect good customer service. In the interest of fairness, 4 stars instead of 1. I got the version with blue switches and was really happy with it for the first two days. Then the P key fell off while I was typing and I discovered that the keycaps hadnt been pushed in all the way before it was packaged. I returned it because that seems like a quality control failure to me, and if I cant trust the keys not to fall off after two days theres no way I can trust the keyboard to last longer than a month before something else breaks.

> 24 hourNo complaints about the product itself. PROS: Amazing lighting! Solid feel. Grips well on the desktop. Just the sound I expected for brown keys--pleasant click that isnt especially loud or sharp. (Still, the volume would probably NOT be popular in a shared office space.) CONS for my use: Even brown (softer clicky tactile) keys require more force than most cheap keyboards. For me this was fine for all of the main keys, but not for the modifier keys like Shift, Ctrl, and Alt. I code, so I do a lot of camel-case shifting, and shifting has been hard to get used to on this keyboard. I am planning to replace the browns with reds just on the modifier keys, which I really think will be ideal.
