This keyboard is extremely beautiful. Its a heavy keyboard so you know its well built with a lot of rgb options However, the brown switches arent all the same. My backspace and enter keys were sooo clunky. Luckily the keyboard comes with extra brown keys. So i had to manually swap those keys! So my enter key and nackspace not only feel like how its supposed but also work like how a brown switch is supposed to. Brown switches are meant for medium actuation force and tactile effect. Before the swap the keys were harder to press, after the swap its working smooth however the sound of hitting keys did increase but i dont mind it as the input is the most important thing.

This is a beautiful keyboard and I love the colors and wavy movement of the lights. I never had a macro function on a keyboard before but now that I have it on this one, I would never want a keyboard without it. It makes it so much faster to log in to have a macro for my email address and other log ins. The keys feel springy to me which is nice and I love the volume bar which is a rolling wheel. You will hear the clicking on the keyboard more than on a regular one and I was aware of that when I bought it and is okay for me to hear as I type. I really like this keyboard and the price for it seems a fair price and I would only want a keyboard like this in the future should I need a new one down the line. I play Aram in League of Legends and it has a good feel and response for when I play.

For the price this is really good! I was looking into razor or Logitech keyboards and they were about 120 or more and the brown and blue keys on these are really nice. Nice metal frame, lights are adjustable and full Media control too. They sent me extra keys so if anything happens to them I can replace them with the tools they sent.

I always have ordered Redragons products and they have always worked great and the prices are always reasonable. They are a great budget gaming brand and I recommend them to all gamers I know that cant afford to spend 100+ on mice and keyboards.

My wants for a perfect keyboard were manual light control, softer and quieter key switches, good quality, decent backlighting, easy to read keys and an attached palm rest that was worth a darn. So looking for a gaming keyboard with a decent palm rest, is like looking for a famous unicorn fart. All the supposed gaming keyboards that are on Amazon with a built in palm rest are complete garbage or so freaking expensive as to be out of my reach. So I had just given up. But then I found this keyboard by happen chance after watching Jayztwocents show a couple of cool keyboards and it renewed my desire to look for a better keyboard. I love that fact that it has the brown switches and you can manually set the colors without some crappy software. But it doesnt have a palm rest you say! Yes your right, it didnt : ) But I took a chance and purchased the NPET WR30 Keyboard Wrist Rest Pad here on Amazon with this keyboard and hoped for the best. I had an idea, but I didnt have a plan. You see, I type with my keyboard on my lap. And I absolutely have to have a palm rest when typing. So when it got here today, I took them both out and instantly knew that I was going to make this to work. Went digging around all the left overs from the garage and found some old plastic wall file holders and the fix was in. These were the older plastic type with a smoked color and around 1/8 thick. Took me three times to get the cuts right, but in the end, I had what I needed. A platform to hold my keyboard and wrist rest together without any bulk. Scuffed it up and gave it a paint job, and with some Gorilla double stick tape, the new set up was finished. I took off the rubber pads from the wrist rest and applied them to the new base and walla, an awesome keyboard with an awesome wrist rest. Ill be honest, this is the first day. But I already know I will not be sending this baby back. It blows my other gaming keyboard right out of the door and the brown switches are so nice. The biggest sell for me though was the fact that they used a font that is so easy see. I can type pretty good, but the dang symbols on the top row have always been a bugger for me. So now I can see the right symbol when I need it. Typing on this thing is a dream. The added wrist rest is just the icing on the cake. Super comfy and at the perfect height. So if your looking for a good typing, er I mean gaming keyboard with the ability to add a really nice wrist rest super easily, then this is your keyboard and wrist rest combo. Super sturdy and it didnt add hardly any more weight to it. There is also a guy on Youtube that did a nice video explaining every light setting and macro setting walk through that I highly recommend titled Redragon K580 Vata RGB controls Tutorial. Over all, the build is super nice. I did take the top cover off initially just to see what I was dealing with as far as space for fasteners (none). The internals are top notch, and with the aluminum top deck making a very sturdy keyboard for a very affordable price. I would highly recommend this keyboard no matter what keys you choose. Very well made, and well worth the money.

Recently built myself a PC and this is the very first mechanical keyboard that I decided to get. I must say I really happy with my purchase. The brown switches are not to loud and I really like RBG lighting on this KB. Also really like the scroll wheel at the top right to control volume; this is very useful in my opinion. In terms of ergonomics, I will have to use it more (will update this if need be with regards to this). I can probably see my self getting a hand rest to go along with it in the future though.

This review is based off of 3 month usage. I was in the market for a decent mechanical keyboard with buttons I could program. I purchased this keyboard with brown switches and also a red dragon mouse and red dragon pink keycaps. The pros: - The build of the keyboard is definitely nice. The main body feels heavy and metal. Very sleek. - I loveeee the brown switches. Not quite loud but nice and clicky. - I like the scroll wheel for volume control. - I like all the RGB options. I especially like changing different keys to colors indicating what shortcuts are available in games. Cons: - The keys are constantly popping off whether it’s the originals or the pink ones I ordered separately. - The macro buttons do not work. I’ve followed the directions, double checked with someone else to make sure I’m understanding them right, they even tried. Do not buy for the macro features. - The keyboard software is JANKY. When I originally got the keyboard and downloaded it’s software, I couldn’t get the software to open. Finally I figured out I had to pull the software out of the zip file before unzipping it. Maybe I’m dumb, but most of the time I thought you just unzip these things? But after getting the software open and installed, the software itself is very small. There is no options to make the window bigger. Everything is cutoff. It works, but you can’t read anything your doing. And the software does have a macro recording section- but because you can’t actually read anything, you can’t really use it. I’ve tried- I can’t tell if it did anything or not. Conclusion: This keyboard does almost everything right that it promises to do. Just don’t buy it expecting macro features or to customize it via its software. It does have ways to customize the keyboard through keybindings. However- if I could return this I would. I will actually be trying to sell this and replace it with something else. I wish I had known about its issues sooner so please head my advice, you could get the good features of this keyboard elsewhere.

So, I have a weird thing where its REALLY satisfying to me have zones defined on my keyboard. Its probably cool for gamers to be able to color-code keystrokes, or for editors to color-code hotkeys, etc, but for me its all about organizing my keys. My letters are white, Tab-CAPS-Shift are yellow, numbers are blue (so is Fn), arrows and the Escape and Windows keys are red, Ctrl-Alt-Options and all the page-moving keys (home, pageup, etc) are purple, punctuation and math keys are orange, and F1 thru F12 are green along with the spacebar, enter, and backspace. I dont know WHAT about that makes sense to me, SOME of it is obvious (white is the most legible, so it makes sense the letters are white, and both the numbers along the top AND on the numpad are blue and thats pretty legible too), but like why did I pick yellow for just three keys? Why green for the F keys? I dont know and it doesnt matter - the point is, I love that I COULD make the keyboard look like this and it scratches an itch I didnt know I had. I actually has helped me with typing - Im not a terrible typist, but, I have trouble typing without looking at the keys. Having the letters be the only white keys and having them surrounded by colors has allowed me to see them a little in my peripheral, which has meant needing to look less often, and now I actually dont need to look almost ever (unless Im using lots of punctuation in quick succession or using keys I dont use often). So thats been kind of cool, Im almost thirty and this is the first time I havent felt like a liiiiittle bit dumb when Im typing, because now I dont have to watch every keystroke anymore. But also it just looks cool and thats probably more important to most people. Also, JUST for the record, I have so much trouble using my stupid lame work keybaord now, its one of those little chiclet key ones thats just, ugh. Ive gotten so used to having the big chunky solid CLICK sound on every stroke that using lesser keyboards is literally actually unpleasant now. I despise my laptop keyboard, my friends stupid keyboards, the keyboards at my work office, etc - nothing stacks up to feeling that CLACKCLACKCLACK every time Im typing anything to anyone. Everything I write to anyone, my fingers feel like toy machine guns, just, its awesome, its very hard to describe the actual tactile feeling of typing everything on a mechanical keyboard, its next-level.

Ive been using this keyboard for a while now and really like it. When I first got it the LED for the caps lock wasnt showing very bright. I suspected it was burned out or something was covering the LED. So I unscrewed the top bezel and carefully peeked under it. I found that there was a little hanging chad of foam from the manufacturing stuck between the LED and the cover. Once I picked the chad off and reassembled it the light was fully functional. Aside from that this keyboard has been great. Ive been using Razer and Corsair mechanical keyboards that cost 3 times the price of this one. And frankly its as good as those. In fact the LED lighting is way brighter than my Razer keyboard. I have no problem recommending this keyboard to others. Unless I have longevity issues Im giving this a big thumbs up.
