Its a great keyboard, But it has a few faults. One would be the method used to lock into a different key mode. Say if you want to lock the Arrow keys to the /?, Alt, Menu, and Ctrl options. You have to do this weird combination of clicks a certain number of times, Which I always forget and have to read the manual to figure out how to change it back. It also switches the Backspace key with Delete which I find quite annoying, Since one button combo does both but the amount of times youve entered depicts if it actually changes. Ive used a few different 60% boards before but never came across the same issues as Ive had with this one. Its still a great keyboard however. For the Price it has a lot of other boards beat. If youre gaming, I wouldnt recommend this keyboard. Its rubber feet help keep it steady, But after a few months of use, It seems that one of the sides has become considerably softer than the others, causing many missed clicks do to the board moving around even during a competitive play session. If youre just typing Its just as youd expect from cheery mx browns, Clicky and responsive. Some may not enjoy its loud clanks, But I personally find them quite satisfying. Say if youre a student who wants to get some typing done anywhere on their phone at desktop keyboard speeds, This board is right for you. If you dont move around a lot or work in different spaces, I would recommend getting yourself a full sized board due to the added functions this board is mission, like the number pad and dedicated Fx keys.

Need to learn a lot of macros to compensate for less keys but works as intended

Ive been using this for a few months and my opinions are as follows: if you need accuracy in wireless modes, then this is not the device for you. Im using this to learn to touch type and I cannot use this wirelessly while I do my typing drills as it does not register every 20-30ish keystroke. This wont bother me with regular office use. I also use it wired for my typing drills, but this is advertised as a gaming keyboard and Im sure gamers would not be thrilled at the lack of accuracy. Also, I have a $30 cheaper bluetooth keyboard that has 100% accuracy so there really is little excuse for bluetooth lag in this device. If your planning on using it wired and want an entry level hot swappable mechanical keyboard you can easily mod, this is a good place to start. I swapped the stock keycaps and switches for some ZDA caps and Gateron CAP milky yellow, lubed the stabilizers, and foam modded the case and am happy with the results . So overall a solid 4 stars from me. Would have been 5 if not for the Bluetooth/wireless inaccuracy.

Ok, this is overall a beautiful keyboard. I personally do not use it for gaming. I purchased the brown switches. It sounds amazing! Now, I had 2 orders. My first order was fine until a few weeks later, it stopped working. The backlight wasnt working and even after fully charging it, the keys started acting up and glitching. Keep in mind, I didnt use it excessively or much at all. So I dont know what caused that. Amazon sent me another one after filing an exchange and so far, Ive had no issues with it. Its a great keyboard and is aesthetically pleasing.

Not my favorite but not my least favorite either. I wish it had a wireless feature but it doesn’t but that’s okay, it has a great build quality but it’s just really plain looking. If you don’t care for looks and or wireless compatibility I would buy it.

I purchased this keyboard because I wanted something similar size as my Akko 3068 and that was also wireless. In the photos youll notice pictures of what looks to be a white USB dongle and mention throughout the listing that it supports 2.4Ghz and Bluetooth however after receiving the keyboard, reading through the manual and looking for a missing dongle I realized there is no dongle. What they mean by 2.4 Ghz is simply that it supports bluetooth (which is 2.4Ghz) the picture of the dongle I guess is just to show what a bluetooth dongle looks like I suppose? I do not want to use Bluetooth for my keyboard and in some cases cant (e.g. BIOS settings) so I am now stuck with a wired keyboard, which isnt what I was after. Based on this confusing description Im docking 2 stars, perhaps I should have remembered what frequency bluetooth is and ignored the random photos of said dongle, still feels misleading. Reviewing this a wired keyboard... Build quality is good, feels more solid than my AKKO 3068 (probably due to the battery) its also quieter - in a good way. The in-keyboard settings to control the RGB shenanigans worked well and was able to set it to a white solid color, no complaints there and actually better experience than I would have hoped. I dont really care for the lights at all and will probably disable them. I might try messing with bluetooth but really not what I was after in the first place.

I searched for a 60% keyboard because I would keep smacking my mouse into my larger one while gaming on low sensitivity, and this one was at least $20 cheaper than the competition while having the same features if not more. REVIEW It does not have dedicated arrow keys (function keys needed) or kick out feet, which I knew before buying so no problem there. The included Bluetooth was not something I personally used, but the option being there at this price point is pretty nice. The case is plastic but I had no issue with the build quality, it feels solid. After a full year of use, it is just as solid and reliable. Ive used Brown Cherry MX switches before and the Gateron Brown switches are great in my opinion. Tactile and pretty quiet. Oh, and the keyboard lights up with pretty colors! Overall this keyboard met all my expectations and then some. The cherry on top was the aesthetic it gave my setup, the only things on my desk were my 3XL mousepad, mouse, and 60% keyboard. Initially it didnt seem like too much changed swapping from my TKL keyboard, but when I put it next to the 60% it looked bulky and extra in caparison. PROS -Relatively affordable -Space Saving -ACTUAL RGB with different color modes - Bluetooth if youre into that -Minimal aesthetic -Good switches CONS -No dedicated arrow keys -No kickout feet TL;DR: Its small, aesthetic, feature packed, and affordable. If you use arrow keys a lot, it may not be worth. If space is the priority, it is definitely worth.

Well built compact keyboard. From my short time using it so far (~1 week) I have noticed that some key strokes dont register when used wirelessly with my Windows laptop (BT or receiver). Doesnt appear to happen on my MacBook which is odd but Ive spent most of my time with this connected to my windows device. I had another wireless keyboard before this one which did not have this issue at all.

I have a moonlander as my daily work driver but wanted a cheaper mechnical KB for gaming, At this price point, I think the RK61 is better than the competition for its cost, although it doesnt match up as well vs more expensive keyboards. One minor complaint is that the hote backlight has a bit of red tinge to it, and that I had to go hunting to find the correct software. Regardless, if you are looking for a mechanical wired and wireless KB for around $50, this is the pick.

Ill just do an initial impressions/opinions first then the pros and cons list after. Ive gone through the flagship keyboards of nearly every major brand you can think of: Razer, Logitech, Cherry, Corsair, Roccat, and others. But only a couple of them (IMHO of course) have been better than this keyboard and not overall, just in certain ways. Ill explain: Razer usually blows the budget on lighting. I think we all know thats their main draw. But their keys are AT BEST comparable to these. Logitech always has all the bells and whistles, but again, key switches are comparable at best. Corsair probably has marginally better keys (in that they are usually not dry but, rather, dry lubed and not very clacky which, for some, is great and others, not so great). But the feel of these brown key switches? Oh lord... Its like typing on the smoothest and yet... I cant really describe what I think when I type on it. It just feels right. Pros: Key switches, while proprietary, are outstanding: not obnoxiously clicky and loud, but feel nice to press RGB Colors are very vivid Key travel distance is rather short which I see as a pro; YMMV Very sturdy construction Cons: RGB lighting is not as bright as other main stream brands Brown switches are not for everyone, they take stronger fingers to use effectively (only my opinion) Its a 60% keyboard, you know what youre getting into with secondary key functions; however, once you learn where they are, its not that bad Lack of adjustable feet/legs; not a huge deal as the design almost negates the need for them, its still just a bit low for my liking These of course are only my opinions and only reflect as much. I purchased this keyboard for 10% off, but that was an Amazon deal and I was not compensated in any way for this review. It reflects my true and honest thoughts on the RK Royal Kludge RGB 60% Mechanical Keyboard, brown switches, white.
