Once I heard there were robot vacuums that mopped, I started looking. We have had a Roomba that doesnt mop for about 6 years. I bought the Tikom G8000 based on all the features compaired to the price. I’ve been using it for about a week now. In compairing the 2 machines, my Roomba was expensive like 800 dollars. The G8000 only 230. Roomba drives faster but driving faster doesnt get the job done faster and is more of a problem. The Roomba bangs into things hard. Harder than I or anyone would like. You can even see in the picture along the base of the black one all the scrapes from the moulding, chairs and doors. It is not gentle all. Roomba also has no pattern. To me, it makes no sense how it moves and it ends up going over the same places a bunch of times so it takes much longer. Roomba also seems to want to drive where it can get into trouble. Its weird, it really seems like it wants to get stuck or get caught up on things. I’m constantly yelling “ROOMBA! Don’t be an idiot!”. Roomba is LOUD. Another thing, it only has one brush that seems to mostly throw things around the room. Ok so remember this while I tell you about The Tikom. The very first thing you notice is its sleek look that is a tad bit smaller and lower than Roomba AND how extremely quiet it is! WOW we can watch TV or talk and relax in the same room with it now! It moves about 30% slower than Roomba but I tell ya, it gets the same job done in half the time. It has a pattern. A smart pattern and it has 2 brushes that are positioned so one brush feeds the other and sends the mess right into the vacuum to be sucked up. It gets everything. We have parrots. Small ones, but 3 of them. The seeds and other bird food that gets dropped on the floor is non stop. The fluff from the bottom of the cages and small feathers are always pushed out onto the floor. Tikom gets it all on one pass. Tikom is also SO MUCH GENTLER on everything even the dog just sat there because G8000 slowed down upon approaching him and touched him so softly then turned away. YAY no more banged up furniture or chipped paint! It’s also much easier to empty the trash compartment. Then there is the mop feature. Being that Tikom has its even movement pattern, it mops the whole kitchen without missing anything. It cleans so evenly on both tile and hardwood floors too. All in all I am very happy. Low price, quiet, careful, efficient and smart about how it moves. I doubt I will ever be frustrated with it or have to yell at it and it seems it’s built so well it will last many years. Its great when you can buy something and it is as good as it says it is.

**UPDATE** I have had this vacuum for two months now and the battery life has went down from 2 hours to one hour of operation. The vacuum will sometimes make stupid moves and not find doorways and rooms or will make a ring around the walls of a room and then just go on to another room. And sometimes it works wonderfully. Except for the battery life it seems to work most of the time. I just replaced the battery with the one from the first vacuum and will see how long it will last. Well ordered my first robot vacuum (different brand) back during the Prime days in July. Took forever to come and I received the wrong item ( a mattress pad) and Amazon was sold out by then and I got a refund. Oh well reordered a Tikom and the vacuum arrived worked about 2 weeks and then lost its sensor for the floor. Got a full refund at that time and since Im in South Korea, they said to keep the defective one. So I reordered again and this time its been working for a month and all is well! Oh and the price dropped $10 on the final order! Great vacuum for the price its not too smart but it gets the job done and my wife is happy with its work.

We bought this vacuum months ago after our older iRobot finally quit. This thing is a complete upgrade; it’s amazing. Stuff the old vacuum couldn’t pick up, this one sucks it up no problem. It doesn’t bang around stuff like the other did, it can actually sense when it’s getting near a thing and just kinda kisses it gently and moves on. Real stand up guy, this vacuum. Excuse me, vacuum+mop bc yeah, she mops as well and really does a fine job. It’s not replacing a good mopping, but it absolutely postpones the need for one for a while. The app works great and reminds you when to clean its lil brushes, remote is responsive, I have two cats and a large fluffy dog and the tank can handle only being cleaned once per day with two scheduled cleaning cycles and stray litter and fur about. I have no complaints so far. It’s great!

The robot vacuum and mop did a wonderful job cleaning our floors. Havent tried the mop yet but expect excellent results as well. Havent tried the remote as the automatic setting worked really well. Most importantly, it saves both my daughter and myself back pain. It is cheaper than hiring someone to come in and clean.

We actually have an iRobot Roomba i8 for our house, but my wife wanted another robot vacuum cleaner that could mop. After doing her research, she decided to buy the Tikom G8000. She absolutely loves it. It checks off all the boxes on her list, plus its so much quieter than our iRobot. We have a toddler, so we can only have the iRobot on when the baby is awake. With the G8000, it doesnt matter when we turn it on. Sometimes its so quiet, were not even sure its working. Then we see it gliding across the floor. Also, my wife mistakenly tossed out some spare dust plates for the dust bin thinking it was scraps. We reached out to their customer service unit and they were extremely responsive and understanding. They took care of situation right away. Im telling you, for the price, you cant go wrong. The only reason why I gave them 5 stars is because I couldnt give them 6 stars. You know the old saying happy wife happy life!!!

This is our second Tikom robo vac. The first one was a model 2700 to replace our aging iRobot. The 2700 is slim and can go under sofa and bed and doesnt get stuck as easily as the iRobot. It works well for us, except we had to carry it up and down stairs to clean both floors. So when the G8000 came out we put in an order. Its mopping function makes a lot of sense for our first floor which is primarily hardwood floors. The idea was to keep one on each floor. The G8000 arrived quickly and with nice packaging. It is slightly thicker than the slim 2700, which makes sense because it has to fit a water tank for mopping. Set up was quick and the phone app works fine. It also comes with a remote control so you can operate without a phone. Tested it and it works, but we prefer to use the phone app anyways (instead looking for the remote). The mopping function works well. We were initially surprised by the small water tank. But it is pretty efficient with water. It mops with a damp cloth attached to the underside of the water tank via velcros. Cleaning the 1000sq ft hardwood floor takes about a tank of water, perfect for our home. Its pretty easy to clean too. If you take off the water tank, it become a regular vac. In this case it is very similar to the 2700 that we have. Pretty effective. So this is our set up -- the 2700 lives upstairs, going under the beds and around dressers to clean carpeted areas. The new 8000 stays downstairs doing mopping most of the time. Each has their own charging station. No need to carry them up and down anymore. Its been a month so far and we like this.

Ok so I am I dog groomer and I got this to use after I shop vac my salon so it can pick up what is left behind and then mop the floors for me. It can vacuum really well and makes my life easier and can find it’s charging station. There are some things that really annoy me. First of all, I followed the instructions for the mopping, and not a single drop of water came out. I pulled it apart over and over again trying different things and seriously not a drop came out on mopping mode. Then I pulled out these black little rubber stoppers on the bottom of it and water started coming out. NOWHERE in the instructions does it tell you to remove these. And even when I do remove these, the water comes out TOO fast and almost drenches the floor in a few minutes and runs out of water within 10 minutes max. So I either get absolutely nothing or it soaks my floor. Why do I have ti unplug the holes? But why does that let so much water out? When I change the water settings it does absolutely NOTHING. Like I can put it on the lowest water setting ajd it will still drench my floor. And because of it running out so fast I have to refill the thing 4/5 times to do where I need it to and then it’s a mess because water is pouring everywhere and it won’t stay full long enough to reattach it to the robot. Am I doing something wrong here???? like why don’t the instructions mention these plugs or why does the water not come out when they’re in? I’m so lost. Besides that it’s quiet and does what j need it to besides when the main brush gets stuck or it runs over a cord and then suddenly can’t function because it’s “on a cliff” or the bumper is stuck. It’s ok. For the price I can’t complain too much
