> 3 dayYes, had now a few months, it does work, however not all that great on carpet. Did not expect much more than a general cleaning in between my normal cleanings. For the price, Id buy it again. Picks up dust under beds which is the main reason bought it on the first place.

> 3 dayAbout 6 months of use now and this has been my best vac yet. I have 2 other basic vac only robots. I really like this one because it does both mop and vac. Pretty much like all of my other VAX you have to make sure it doesn’t get caught up on a few things like cords or other large debris. I have a fairly large tiled area that this handles quite well. It will do spot cleaning, but I rarely use it for that. I find it’s best to do just regular maintenance at least once a day my floors are nice and clean without me, having to do it with a mop. When we get spills and other things like sticky stains, I pretty much will do that by hand. If you keep the mop clean, it will make your floors look nice and consistent. I utilize the app quite a bit and I like the information it provides on charge amount and approximate location, it even has a map feature. That kind of tells you what it’s done so far which I thought it was pretty cool. You can set three levels of vacuum strength, and also set water level or pressure that it releases. I have considered some other mopping options, but this does the trick for me, and I would definitely get another.

> 3 dayOnce I heard there were robot vacuums that mopped, I started looking. We have had a Roomba that doesnt mop for about 6 years. I bought the Tikom G8000 based on all the features compaired to the price. I’ve been using it for about a week now. In compairing the 2 machines, my Roomba was expensive like 800 dollars. The G8000 only 230. Roomba drives faster but driving faster doesnt get the job done faster and is more of a problem. The Roomba bangs into things hard. Harder than I or anyone would like. You can even see in the picture along the base of the black one all the scrapes from the moulding, chairs and doors. It is not gentle all. Roomba also has no pattern. To me, it makes no sense how it moves and it ends up going over the same places a bunch of times so it takes much longer. Roomba also seems to want to drive where it can get into trouble. Its weird, it really seems like it wants to get stuck or get caught up on things. I’m constantly yelling “ROOMBA! Don’t be an idiot!”. Roomba is LOUD. Another thing, it only has one brush that seems to mostly throw things around the room. Ok so remember this while I tell you about The Tikom. The very first thing you notice is its sleek look that is a tad bit smaller and lower than Roomba AND how extremely quiet it is! WOW we can watch TV or talk and relax in the same room with it now! It moves about 30% slower than Roomba but I tell ya, it gets the same job done in half the time. It has a pattern. A smart pattern and it has 2 brushes that are positioned so one brush feeds the other and sends the mess right into the vacuum to be sucked up. It gets everything. We have parrots. Small ones, but 3 of them. The seeds and other bird food that gets dropped on the floor is non stop. The fluff from the bottom of the cages and small feathers are always pushed out onto the floor. Tikom gets it all on one pass. Tikom is also SO MUCH GENTLER on everything even the dog just sat there because G8000 slowed down upon approaching him and touched him so softly then turned away. YAY no more banged up furniture or chipped paint! It’s also much easier to empty the trash compartment. Then there is the mop feature. Being that Tikom has its even movement pattern, it mops the whole kitchen without missing anything. It cleans so evenly on both tile and hardwood floors too. All in all I am very happy. Low price, quiet, careful, efficient and smart about how it moves. I doubt I will ever be frustrated with it or have to yell at it and it seems it’s built so well it will last many years. Its great when you can buy something and it is as good as it says it is.

> 3 dayI placed its charging station under a cabinet, where its out of site. It has no problem finding its way back to it when I tell it to go charge, even if it might take a while when there are many obstacles. Its really been a great help since we got a cat. It catches the cat hair and litter that the cat brings out from the litter box. The amount of dirt and hair I empty out after it runs for a couple of hours is impressive, and proof of the vacuums efficacy. Its easy to operate with the remote. I did not download and test the phone app. The English in the instruction manual is pretty bad, so I didnt want to get the app. The battery seems to last for about two hours, as the product claims. Its more than enough. It gets stuck under furniture that are just the right hieght -- I have a few of those, unfortunately. The included magnetic strip helps avoid those traps. The way the vacuum navigates in a room and around obstacles is really impressive. I tried the mopping as well -- its not great, but it works, and its a very nice addition for a vacuum at this price point. Overall - a great help in the house.

> 3 dayIm so happy with this robot vacuum. Like most people, I had already heard of the iRobot Roomba, but was put off by the price and the overwhelming number of models currently on the market, some of which are $800! Madness. This TIKOM is a fantastic option for people looking for a quality product without breaking the bank. I have a 1-bed apartment with 2 cats, and this thing has completely changed my routine. No more vacuuming up litter and hair every morning, this handy thing just does it while I get ready for the day. I havent figured out how to get it to map the different rooms, but just using the automatic cleaning feature works just fine for me. Sometimes I use manual mode if Im in a rush and want it to focus on a particular area. Easy to empty the little dust compartment. The one thing Im not sure about is how to make the thing work if you are not at your house for a while, but someone else is. Can they download the app and use it? Not sure, need to find out. Im also not even sure if it DOES map rooms. But personally, I dont mind about that, I just wanted something that saved me manual labor, is reliable and works really well. This does all that in abundance. Highly recommend!

> 3 dayThis is the best. A friend recommended and it had a 30% off coupon so the price was around $169. It mops -doesnt scrub, but it does a nice enough job. The vacuum I set on timer, I make sure everything is up and out of way and it does the whole area, helping our backs from sweeping a few times a day. You can set up pattern also- which i like.

> 3 dayThis is our second Tikom robo vac. The first one was a model 2700 to replace our aging iRobot. The 2700 is slim and can go under sofa and bed and doesnt get stuck as easily as the iRobot. It works well for us, except we had to carry it up and down stairs to clean both floors. So when the G8000 came out we put in an order. Its mopping function makes a lot of sense for our first floor which is primarily hardwood floors. The idea was to keep one on each floor. The G8000 arrived quickly and with nice packaging. It is slightly thicker than the slim 2700, which makes sense because it has to fit a water tank for mopping. Set up was quick and the phone app works fine. It also comes with a remote control so you can operate without a phone. Tested it and it works, but we prefer to use the phone app anyways (instead looking for the remote). The mopping function works well. We were initially surprised by the small water tank. But it is pretty efficient with water. It mops with a damp cloth attached to the underside of the water tank via velcros. Cleaning the 1000sq ft hardwood floor takes about a tank of water, perfect for our home. Its pretty easy to clean too. If you take off the water tank, it become a regular vac. In this case it is very similar to the 2700 that we have. Pretty effective. So this is our set up -- the 2700 lives upstairs, going under the beds and around dressers to clean carpeted areas. The new 8000 stays downstairs doing mopping most of the time. Each has their own charging station. No need to carry them up and down anymore. Its been a month so far and we like this.

> 3 dayI have used my robot vacuum several times a week and Im impressed with how much dirt it picked up. I have a cat and my floor gets hair after a day or two after vacuuming, this vacuum cleans the floor well. It saves me so much time. Humming sound of the vacuum isnt loud. My cat is afraid of noise and this vacuum does not bother my cat. I have not yet used the mop though.
