Ruvati 15 x 20 inch Drop-in Topmount Bar Prep Sink 16 Gauge Stainless Steel Single Bowl - RVH8110

I love this sink. Our plumber loved it, too (he went on about wealthy clients -not moi, we not wealthy - insisting upon sinks and faucets that require lots of time to retrofit because they are not of topnotch quality, and how hed rather have a quick job with nice materials -such as the Ruvati sink and Kraus (KPF-2130) faucet that I chose, than rack up hours with stuff that looks good but wont last). I cook a lot and wanted a deep single sink for pot filling, dirty cookware depositing, etc. This fit the bill and It is simple and of very high quality. It is heavy stainless steel. Care is thus predictable and easy. The (also stainless, with rubber feet) drain grid needs removal and cleaning regularly - no big deal, but it helps the sink not scratch. Look up simple elegance and this sink might be there! Another consideration: we cannot afford to replace our counters now, but I purchased the sink (and faucet) with that eventuality in mind. The sink is overmounted on our cheapish composite counter, but the plumber has confirmed that when we replace the counter, the sink can easily be undermounted with the included hardware!

My wife said buy the largest sink that will fit in the cabinet. This sink is huge. You likely already know about the sound deadening coating and the thickness of steel are great but there are couple other noteworthy pluses. The sink strainer it came with is a basket you can easily pull out and empty into the trash. The packaging was amazing. This sink was well protected during shipping - make sure you dont accidentally throw out the template which is a white poster board looking thing. The installation was on par with any other top mounted sink Ive installed. My one word of warning is that this is a statement piece - mainly because of its massive size. People walk in the kitchen and walk directly to it and make some comment about being able to wash small adults in it or large dogs. I like the size as allows me to wash giant cutting boards and large pots with ease.

I absolutely love the product, it is very spacious, very easy to clean, and looks cool and stylish. The in depth and wide space is really awesome, so it can hold lot of vessels and doesnt look bad when someone looks the dirty dishes from outside. The Sink Protector plate that came with the sink is also very helpful and fits perfectly which avoids any scratches that may happen on the sink while using the sink. Overall I would recommend this product for anybody, Ive already told my review to my friends and they have also purchased the product. It makes the manual dish washing experience a breeze, I totally love Ruvati Kitchen Sink, I am glad i made a valuable purchase.

Unboxing this sink was a treat, it was like an Apple unboxing. :) The box is huge and marked on the putside, but then there is an inside box that is well padded and the sink is then inside a black fabric bag. Installation was a cinch as we were replacing an old two basin 8 deep sink. I did have to saw out the corners as they were curved and not squared. Sink clips were actually not a problem of three of the sides, but the rear clips didnt make great contact for me. I am going to try and get something together to help them clamp down properly. Also, only 2 clips per side, but I feel that the rear (where the faucet goes) could use a couple more to prevent flexing from tall faucets/sprayers. I specifically looked for 16ga sinks to try and alleviate this flexing, but since our faucet is 28 at the peak it still can flex when trying to spray out the far corners. Drain, strainer, and plug are included and look very nice and thought out. We have a disposal so we arent using it. Three of the 4 holes came with plugs that match the sink. Yes, it is expensive compared to some other single basin sinks, but the heavy gauge, clean construction, and attention to detail are hard to beat.

Great sink! Very elegant looking and maximizes all available space. Original sink measured 33 x 22. Was a dual bowl. We wanted a single bowl to maximize space and convenience. Rack that comes with it prevents scratching and is very functional. Washing large bowls, pots and pans is very easy now. Pros: - Maximal space. Thin edges. - Looks great. - Very functional rack. Cons: - Hole covers are a bit flimsy and thin. There are 3 holes. We only got the single lever faucet with hose. 2 holes are unused and covers look a little cheap as the edges are a bit jagged. - Bottom of sink is a bit flat and doesnt drain items well. - Have a garbage disposal installed which makes it necessary for a different drain cover. Despite this, still give it 5 stars. The flatness of the sink also maximizes the space and needing a drain cover is a necessary evil due to the disposal used. Very happy with the purchase.

This sink is more than I expected. I have 2 more projects that require sinks and I will buy this one again!

Beautiful Sink, it arrived exactly as described and fit perfectly in my counter. Packaging was really good, protected the sink from any possible damage and product is very high quality and look great in my kitchen. I had to cut out a oversized corian sink that had cracked and this was the perfect replacement. It is quite large and exactly what the wife wanted. The steel is thicker than most sinks and quieter. I have had it in for a couple months and it is holding up well. The sink gets used heavily and comes with a terrific drain with a deep strainer that holds all the scraps. I would highly recommend this sink, just make sure you measure as it is quite large and exact to the measurements listed.

We had looked at a LOT of sinks over the past several months but are so happy we selected the Ruvati--the quality of the 16 gauge stainless can immediately be felt and seen. From the cavernous basin to the finely fitted drain cup this sink screams quality as was immediately noticed by dinner guests who no doubt remember the previous ceramic one. Unlike many we looked at it, the Ruvati included the grate and drain--not to mention free shipping. We also looked in the big box stores and mega hardware stores but found only 20 gauge or 18 gauge offerings at best and they paled in comparison. OK, enough of the accolades--great sink, buy it, youll not regret it. The company is so proud of their product it came securely stowed in layers of rigid cardboard, then wrapped in a nylon bag to preclude any abrasions. Heck, it even came with what looked like a giant diploma (certificate of authenticity I believe). While I confess that some of the reviews claiming food sometimes doesnt make it to the drain without some coaxing--that simply comes with the territory with a vessel of these dimensions! So glad I forked over the extra money to buy this unit over some lesser products! It arrived unharmed, shipped very securely in its protective packaging. The darn box was built better than the sink I was going to use before I found this one. Very heavy gauge stainless steel construction and excellent sound damping. It is an absolute jewel that Im sure will provide many years of service in my home. Thanks!

this sink is AMAZING!!! I replaced a same size double cast iron sink and had to cut the corners of my countertop as this sink is zero radius, but it installed with no problems and I LOVE IT! we were unable to secure the stays that keep the sink from being able to be pushed back out because there was only an inch of room or so and we couldnt squeeze our arms up to do that but I dont think it will be an issue. The weight will hold it down and I used silicone around the sink to prevent water from seeping under. I could practically bathe in here!! It is HUGE!! The included metal grate allows pots and pans and knives to not scratch the bottom of the sink and the sink is even big enough for me to have an over sink drain (shown in picture) and still be large enough to wash everything.
