> 3 dayThis is a first class 16 gauge stainless sink. Since is 10 deep it cannot be drawn so it is welded. Perfection is what I would call it. Deep strainer basket. A stopper that actually works. If I were the manufacturer I would have put additional clamps on each side (close) to the single hole. A sink this size will have a large (tall) faucet and therefore someone will pull on the tall neck. The stainless will flex. Is this a problem? NO. However people tend to be abusive. Do I think this could cause a problem in years to come? I doubt it as it have to be deliberate to work 16 gauge enough to either crack or bend. Just my thought on what is a perfectly fine sink and well worth the money. And the 10 depth allows to was the dishes and not have to change a soaking wet shirt! 5 STARS EASILY!

> 3 dayThe Ruvati RVH8001 Drop-in sink is a great value in stainless sinks! It came securely packaged in a cloth bag and sturdy box. I did not unpack it personally but the contractor who did commented on its weight, heavier than average along with and that is good!. As for the installation, a previous drop in sink of the same size was being replaced--a couple of adjustments on the underlying clips, and this Ruvati dropped in perfectly. With a good selection of holes, a soap dispenser, a new faucet, and a dishwasher vent all found homes. The remaining holes are attractively covered with a gasketed stainless plug. A truly modern design complements most kitchens with bright stainless and square angles. The included grate (dont forget to take it out! My contractor almost threw it away with the box) is a nice addition to a beautiful sink. I would recommend Ruvati to anyone looking for a new sink!

> 3 dayWe were looking for a stainless steel sink to replace an 18 year-old composite with double sinks that was fading and hard to clean. Our plumber recommended a 16 gauge stainless steel sink since he has installed and seen the cheaper stuff from the box stores which rust and twist. We read the reviews and bought the Ruvati RVH8001 which our plumber said was higher quality than he normally sees. The Ruvati was so well packaged in strong styrofoam plus it was wrapped in a strong cloth bag with a draw string to prevent scratching. The Ruvati sink comes with a grid that lays nicely on the bottom to place large pans and dishes on. Its deeper than we realized (10) which required some cutting out of the side walls of the cabinet but fits nicely in the cabinet with minimal plumbing adjustments. We paired it with a new Moen Camerist faucet and a new Badger 15 garbage disposal and could not be happier with this sink which fits in with the kitchen layout.

Greater than one weekI researched a lot of stainless steel sinks. We removed our old cement utility sink in the basement and my wife wanted a large sink to replace it. There are some oversized stainless steel sinks out there but many of them are ridiculously expensive. This sink does the trick. It is big! It is an overmount which allowed me to use a standard formica countertop. The 16guage stainless is beautiful! The packaging was soo impressive. I ordered it from Amazon and was worried about the shipping with UPS throwing the thing around and having it damaged. It was packaged in a heavy duty box (that we still have because my wife thinks we can use it for something else!!) There was foam around the sink and the sink itself was packed in a velvet-like bag. It was like opening a bottle of Crown Royal!!! Ruvati really took all the extra effort to pack this thing well. It was easy to install - there was a template to use for cutting my formica top and it dropped right in. It is a quiet sink. I love my Ruvati stainless steel sink!

22-11-2024I was a bit skeptical to purchase a sink online. I buy many things online but its mainly clothes, shoes etc. things that are really easy to return or carry to the store. The thought of not liking the sink crossed my mind before I ordered it and having to Re-package and ship it out made me really doubt if it was a good idea to buy it online. But I started reading the reviews and most of them were skeptics like me. They all said they were extremely happy that they took a chance on this sink because it was beautiful, high quality and an amazing value. I figured thousands of people couldnt be wrong. So I took a chance myself! Im so happy and delighted that I took a chance because this sink is really gorgeous. As soon as I tried to take it out of the box I knew I was going to need help because its heavy and that shows a lot of quality. My 2 sided sink was only 8 inches deep and now with no division and 10 inches deep it makes a world of a difference. The quality and design are superb and the sleek lines and thin edges make every corner count. I pile my dishes all day long including my blender, pans, pots and this sink holds it all. I definetly can say I love washing my dishes in this sink and everyone that comes over to my house wants to use it because they like it so much. This sink definitely gave me more than just space it revamped my whole kitchen setting. My kitchen looks updated and fresh! If youre hesitating like I was please take a chance you wont regret it!

> 3 daythis sink is AMAZING!!! I replaced a same size double cast iron sink and had to cut the corners of my countertop as this sink is zero radius, but it installed with no problems and I LOVE IT! we were unable to secure the stays that keep the sink from being able to be pushed back out because there was only an inch of room or so and we couldnt squeeze our arms up to do that but I dont think it will be an issue. The weight will hold it down and I used silicone around the sink to prevent water from seeping under. I could practically bathe in here!! It is HUGE!! The included metal grate allows pots and pans and knives to not scratch the bottom of the sink and the sink is even big enough for me to have an over sink drain (shown in picture) and still be large enough to wash everything.

> 3 dayThis sink has met or exceeded our expectations. I have had it installed for almost 5 months and it has been a major improvement over my previous sink. The dimensions of the basin allow us to clean large pans like our wok and slow cooker with ease. My biggest concern with a stainless steel sink was noise, but its honestly very well insulated/dampened and its really quite minimal. This sink paired beautifully with a new faucet (the American Standard 4175.300.075 Colony Soft Pull-Down in stainless steel), which we bought at the same time. Installation was not difficult and the sink has held up nicely against wear and tear so far (5 months). The grate insert is a nice touch to keep plates/glasses elevated so theyre not drenched in the water and bits of food below. Id confidently recommend this sink to all those in the market for a quiet and simple-looking stainless steel sink with good quality at a fair price.

> 3 dayThe sink looks great. We dont have issues with water pooling as some reviews mentioned. I think that is only an issue if the counter is not level. I used to own a shipping store and am impressed with the packaging job. My only complaint is that this is sold as a 33x22 sink that can drop into most existing installations. We had another 33x22 inch sink installed with a 20.75 x 31.5 hole in a stone counter top. The good news is this sink provides significantly more bowl room once installed. Ive included pictures of the cutout template with a tape measure provided for this sink. There is no way this fits most existing installations. However, the hang up isnt the sink itself. It is the mounting clips that stick out on all sides. In lieu of recutting the stone, I straightened(bent) all of the mounting clips to hug the bowl and attached wires and tensioners below to anchor the sink. With this modification, it fit into my existing hole. Without modification you need a32.25x21.25 hole. I think the anchoring system could be re-imagined for the better on this sink to fit more installations, however this is a great sink and I would buy it again knowing I had to make modifications.

> 3 dayI got this puppy installed yesterday (Sat 3/10/2018) and I have to say it is a beast! I purchased the 33x22 inch model unit and I am very happy I did. This is a great sink but there is some room for improvement. I dont like the way the provided retaining clips angle into the sink as you tighten them down. In my case the sink fit the hole from my previous sink perfectly but very tightly. It mounted completely flush on either side so there was no possibility of side-to-side movement ergo I left out those clips. I managed to anchor 2 clips in front and back of the sink and I think that would do nicely to keep it stable. A bit of advice to those who purchase this sink....dont try to fill it up with water. This is a large volume sink and unless you have granite counter tops or some other very hard surface the weight of water in this fully filled sink would crash through the hole mount and damage the plumbing in the sink cabinet. My kitchen is a lower end model with particle board and laminate counter tops. I dont think mine would be strong enough to support the weight of this sink fully filled with water. It is not really a problem I think because most people would just use it to wash and rinse stuff with the water running and the drain open. I have a dish washer for doing dishes this baby was purchased mostly for my over sized cast iron enameled cookware and my large stainless steel pots. I gave it 4 stars because of the retaining clips issue but dont let that deter you from buying this baby if you really want it. It is a solid design and they send it very well packaged a secured. Its very unlikely to get damaged in transit.

> 3 dayBought this for our sons new house. At this time sink had to be replaced and not replacing countertops at this time so had to go with the 33. It is just truly fabulous. Son has been actually cooking and appliances, sink, faucet make such a huge difference when you actually use them several times a day. Hes thrilled and we are delighted it worked out and he loves it. It was easy to install BUT they had to rework the plumbing, only two trips to the hardware store, but that was expected since going from 2 sinks to one. The house is 80 years old so you never know what to expect. Also, no issues with delivery. Arrived safe and sound and ready to install.
