The sink looks great. We dont have issues with water pooling as some reviews mentioned. I think that is only an issue if the counter is not level. I used to own a shipping store and am impressed with the packaging job. My only complaint is that this is sold as a 33x22 sink that can drop into most existing installations. We had another 33x22 inch sink installed with a 20.75 x 31.5 hole in a stone counter top. The good news is this sink provides significantly more bowl room once installed. Ive included pictures of the cutout template with a tape measure provided for this sink. There is no way this fits most existing installations. However, the hang up isnt the sink itself. It is the mounting clips that stick out on all sides. In lieu of recutting the stone, I straightened(bent) all of the mounting clips to hug the bowl and attached wires and tensioners below to anchor the sink. With this modification, it fit into my existing hole. Without modification you need a32.25x21.25 hole. I think the anchoring system could be re-imagined for the better on this sink to fit more installations, however this is a great sink and I would buy it again knowing I had to make modifications.

The sink looks perfect in our contemporary house. Way better than the white cast iron double-bowl sink that we had before and so much easier to clean. Yes it does scratch without much force, but I think thats the standard with stainless steel sinks. You dont drag metal objects along the front of your stainless fridge, do you? With that being said, I would highly recommend using the included grate for the bottom of the sink to protect it. I also like the extra deep drain basket to catch all of the food since we have a septic mound system and its good to keep it as clean as possible. Make sure to measure twice before you buy and check the plumbing under the sink to see if it will fit without having to call a plumber. Keep in mind that the sink drops almost straight down vs. our old curved sink so it will fill the entire undersink area. We had to reconfigure the drain pipes underneath so it would fit correctly. No regrets with this sink. Its a great centerpiece to our kitchen.

I purchased this sink July 5, 2015 after researching many months for just the right sink to suit our requirements. I wanted to be sure we had put it to the test of time before writing a review, and so we did! I am an organic, fully from scratch cook for a large family. I use every imaginable size of pot and pan, from small to huge cast iron and stainless steel. I have many salad spinners, colanders, mandarin slicers, sets of expensive knives, and dozens of bowls, flatware sets and serving trays, not to mention all of the dishes - oodles of them. The size of this sink accommodates them all as needed around here, sometimes with several in at the same time. This sink comes packaged as finely and elegantly as the sink itself, so the sink is well protected upon arrival. After almost two years of using this sink as a maniac cook who does nothing in a delicate way, I can attest to the fact that this sink can take a lot of beating with not a hint of marring or discoloration to it. After I clean it every night, it looks as good and new as the day we received it. It is a very heavy sink; it took two of us to lift it into the pre-existing countertop hole that accommodated the previous old sink, which was standard size: about one inch deeper than this sink. However, we got creative with the countertop to close that one inch gap left at the back wall. No one will ever be the wiser unless they crawl deep into the sink cabinet with a flashlight, turn upside down on their back and examine the countertop patch at the wall. Our guests are usually not inclined to do so. The stainless steel of this sink is very thick and cleans beautifully. The manufacturing seams are flawless. The bottom is flat, which was one of our requirements, so as to allow more stuff to sit flat. No space is wasted for setting things flat in this sink. It has no curves or pitches. We love that. We hated that our old sinks sides were curved and it was pitched towards the drain, which wasted a lot of the usable space. When we read reviews of this sink while doing our research pre-purchase, we noticed that some had complained about the flat bottom without curves and pitches. They commented that without those curves and pitches, the sink did not drain automatically, nor does all the debris slide down the drain automatically. That seemed like a trite and silly complaint to us. After all, to properly clean a sink and rid it of all debris, one does not just allow whatever is visible on its bottom to slide down the drain. There is much left behind that is not visible to the naked eye, and therefore the sink must be scrubbed out properly with cleaner to be sanitized. So, no matter if the sink has a 45 degree pitch, it still needs to be scrubbed out. I should teach a class on sanitation and hygiene to those complainers. If they are not regularly scrubbing out the sink with sanitizing cleaner, they do not have a clean sink! There is no sound, vibration or movement what-so-ever with this sink. It is totally solid and quiet as can be. The bottom rack is heavy duty and most sturdy. Our large cast iron Dutch Ovens full of liquid do not bend it in any way, even with the pressure of scrubbing them. The rack saves the bottom of the sink from any scratching or marring. Great addition! Even the rack is still in perfect condition after almost two years of heavy duty use and cleaning. This was one of our most excellent purchases of the whole house remodel. Amazons price was a great deal. This sink could last several lifetimes, so we are considering it a family heirloom.

Just installed this sink. Looks fantastic. Real high quality material. No loud water sound. I did have a professional install it so I cant speak to that part of it. I cant believe how much I like this sink. It looks waaaay bigger than my double basin sink but its the same size. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because of the slant at the bottom. The other reviews are right. The cut of the bottom is not angled enough for food particles to flow easily to the drain. Rice, pasta, etc needs a removable spray nozzle to push the food to the drain. Like watering down your driveway of debri. Other than that, I love my new sink.

    Greater than one week

This sink is a beauty. Its large which fits cookie sheets, pots and pans. You can easily put a washing bin on one side and still be able to rinse dishes. Similar to the other reviewers it can be a bear to clean. Simply using the sprayer to rinse food bits down doesnt always work and I noticed some build up in the corners. If youre a neat freak this may not be the sink for you. We really like it and just need to double check after rinsing dishes that all the debris is in the strainer.

We recently completed a small renovation of our kitchen...new countertops, sink, backsplash, etc. This sink is now the shining star of our kitchen! It was a wonderful value for the money. The 16-gauge stainless steel is usually only found in much more expensive sinks. We did not use the included strainer basket because we installed a garbage disposal, but I know I would have liked it if we had. It was heavy duty and large. Im still trying to decide whether or not I like the rinse grid. It does help protect the bottom of the sink, but also makes it a touch more difficult when putting food down the disposal. It also makes cleaning the sink a larger chore. This isnt an issue for me, but my husband is not as inclined to be as thorough. My favorite aspect of this sink is the large basin. We replaced a small two-basin sink. Washing large pans and dishes was a circus act! I can now wash any of my large items with ease. The basin also helps keep the counter clear. I can fit a small dish strainer off to one side and still have plenty of room for washing and rinsing. I would definitely purchase this or another Ruvati sink again!

OMG...finally finished and moved in to our cottage and we installed this 25 Ruvati single bowl sink. LOVE IT!! Ive never had a single sink before but I wanted something that had a bigger area and thought I would try this. The sink came very well packaged and arrived WITH sink clips. Nice stainless finish and love the grate that sits in the bottom. Also like that I was able to get a smaller sink base cabinet and it fit perfectly. We did not use the strainer as we installed a garbage disposal. And I personally prefer the small, white plastic dish drain that I can easily move in/out without removing the sink grate. I would definitely purchase this sink again.

I was very delighted to have found a single bowl sink with precut 4 holes. Good quality steel. Its a good heavy weight 40pounder for me to lift up into sink frame. It arrived in tripple packaged box. I was surprised how well it was packaged, and I appreciate that. This is my first DIY project in the kitchen, and I think I should have hired a professional. But regardless, I managed to cut out the tiles to make room. The card board model 33x22 included in it was bit misleading. After I removed the old two bowls sink, the card board model fit in the frame perfectly. I thought that is the size of the sink; however, the new sink would not slide down. I had to cut out two inches of left and right and half inch off back and front of my tile counter. and cut some wood frames all around. I had to buy all the tools ... and it was a great learning experience. Now that I got my beautiful sink in, the problem is I cannot place the new Grainger Badger 1 (11-1/2 length from mount) in. The sink is deeper than the two bowls, of course, didnt think about that. After two weeks of struggle, tonight I decided that it is going to be a sink without a garbage disposer. ( Garbage disposer also had a defect around the mount and would not lock --Not purchased from Amazon--so that doesnt help either.) So, I got Ruvatis sink flange in, and I am ready to connect some PVC pipes, and I hope to use the sink by this Saturday. Crossing my fingers! I wished they make the Sink hole toward the front. Then, it wouldnt butt head with the drain pipes, etc. and I would have been able to install the garbage disposer unit.

We were looking for a stainless steel sink to replace an 18 year-old composite with double sinks that was fading and hard to clean. Our plumber recommended a 16 gauge stainless steel sink since he has installed and seen the cheaper stuff from the box stores which rust and twist. We read the reviews and bought the Ruvati RVH8001 which our plumber said was higher quality than he normally sees. The Ruvati was so well packaged in strong styrofoam plus it was wrapped in a strong cloth bag with a draw string to prevent scratching. The Ruvati sink comes with a grid that lays nicely on the bottom to place large pans and dishes on. Its deeper than we realized (10) which required some cutting out of the side walls of the cabinet but fits nicely in the cabinet with minimal plumbing adjustments. We paired it with a new Moen Camerist faucet and a new Badger 15 garbage disposal and could not be happier with this sink which fits in with the kitchen layout.

When I received the sink it was heavier than I had expected. The packaging was very elegant for a sink. made me feel fancy (lol). The look and feel of this sink scream quality. My only problem is that I hadnt looked at the measurements of the outside dimensions close enough. I got it into the pre-cut hole in my counter top and sadly it didnt fit. it was a 33in sink but the rim wasnt big enough. This was very frustrating as i had just sent back two kohler sinks that had arrived with broken under mount tracks. But it was all my fault. Luckily they gave me a refund. And then I had to go buy a crappy american standard one from lowes which is inferior quality. Next sink I buy will definitely be a ruvati! they make a great quality product! I had done a ton of research before buying this one due to my bad experience with the kohler. This is definitely the best quality of this style of sink for your money.
