> 3 dayI was concerned that I would not like this sink because of my prior experiences with stainless sinks: typically noisy, hard to keep clean and not very big. I gave up a triple bowl porcelain sink with my kitchen remodel and I loved the versatility. THIS sink changed all that for me. I love it. Its big, deep and the lines and angles look great in my kitchen. As others have stated, it arrives beautifully packaged - Im using the box it came in to store quilts! Large trays fit well, theres plenty of room to fill big pots, drain big pots and room for a dish drainer and dishpan if you want to hand wash. Why four stars? As others pointed out, the angle is a bit flat to rinse crumbs and food bits into the drain; it ends up using more water than Id like to get everything into the drain. Also, the included drain cover doesnt work with a disposal; Ruvati needs to address that. Its quiet, too, partly because of the included rack, which I love. This sink was a marvelous find for the price, I hope I continue to love it for years to come.

> 3 dayI spent quite a bit of time looking for a new drop in sink for our remodeled laundry room. We were looking for something typical for a laundry room purposes, soaking clothes, but we were also looking for a place to give our dog a bath and possibly a place to soak dishes when the extended family shows up for holidays. This sink seems to be a good fit for us. We’ve used it more than anything to give our Shih Tzu a bath. Because it is deep, she isn’t as likely to jump out. The extra depth also makes it easy to fill a pail or 5 gallon bucket. The sink is very well made and was easy to install. The faucet we selected mounts directly to the sink basin. The extra heavy metal of the sink makes the faucet feel very secure. I did have problems with the two mounting clips along the rear edge of the sink. These clips wouldn’t stay in a vertical position. Every time I tried to tighten them, the clip rotated instead of clamping down on the sink. I came up with an easy fix that worked well. See the attached picture. I used a piece of ½” copper pipe, cut to length, to brace the clip against the side of the sink. The other six clips brace themselves against the side of the sink. As others have mentioned, the packaging is better than anything else I’ve seen.

Greater than one weekI absolutely LOVE my Ruvati sink!!! It was the first thing I ordered when we started our kitchen renovation. I relied heavily on the reviews before purchasing and I wasnt disappointed! It was tricky during installation because it was a tight fit due to the extra depth but it was well worth the effort! Love the rack, Love the depth, Love the strainer basket! Drains well! I recently had guests and they said they actually came to visit my sink!!! Have been using this sink for 6 months with no real problems. Lost one of the little rubber feet on the rack. Customer service was excellent and sent some out immediately at no cost. Did I mention that I absolutely LOVE this sink! It is my favorite part of my new kitchen. Thanks Ruvati!!!

> 3 dayI am very pleased. I looked at lower priced sinks with the same design, but two things helped me decide to choose the Ruvati. The high reviews and I noticed this sink rises 1/4 above the counter vs. the other final lower price contender which laid flat on the counter. I didnt think I would care for the edge of the sheet metal look on the lower priced sink. I bring this point up because I studied this purchase a lot and the raised edge vs. flat edge were not so obvious, at least to me. The other feature that was not obvious and I would definitely want are welded gussets on either side of the center faucet mounting hole which this sink has. I discovered this during install, the commercial style faucet I installed is rock solid. Without these gussets your faucet may flex the sheet metal or you have to add a block of wood when you mount the faucet, an added step and method I dont care for. I didnt want a four hole sink but settled on it after deciding this was the best sink to purchase. I installed the R.O. faucet to the right and two soap dispensers, hand and dish, it looks good and I like the functionality. Finally, I have to say, it comes in the most impressive packaging I have seen. I wish I didnt have to throw it away.

> 3 dayAwesome heavy duty sink. Arrived packaged very well and in it’s own bag. It dropped into the existing hole that I had with ease. Installed a new commercial grade Delta faucet. The clips used to fasten the sink to the counter top were too short and I had to alter them. This is a deep sink and getting the clips installed was not an easy task. Used a long handled needle nose pliers and long handled screw driver, as the room on the sides of the sink was very limited due to the size of this monster sink. Overall it takes some time to install because of the size issue. That being said, thus is one hell of a too notch sink!!! Oh ya, install your faucet and any accessories before you drop the sink in!!

> 3 dayAfter doing a LOT of research on stainless steel sinks, and having thrown out our fair share of expensive 18 gauge sinks from box retailers because they rusted, dented, and scratched under normal use, we chose the Ruvati because its a high-quality product at a reasonable price. After 10 months of use, it has held up exceedingly well. Pros: 16 gauge stainless is commercial grade; thats as good as it gets The RVH8000 is HUGE but fits in a typical cut-out; you can soak large pots, pans and trays Its heavy! No need for undermount clips because the weight of the unit + silicon sealant will hold it in place Easy to install (and Im not a plumber) Well insulated; its quiet and holds the temp well when washing in hot water Bottom rack protects the sink from damage Packaging is excellent; the cardboard box is as impressive as the sink Still looks new after almost a year of use Cons: If you scrape food off your plate anywhere other than over the disposal opening, youll spend a lot of time with the sprayer getting it all down. Even when draining a full sink, youll still have food particles that wont go down without extra effort. And dont even think of dumping noodles or beans in the sink with the rack in place; major water games to get everything in the disposal. If Ruvati would change the pitch of the base a few degrees, it would be a perfect sink. If you are looking for a sink that will last for years, can handle large pots and pans, and dont mind the hassle of the low-slope basin that requires a lot of spraying to clean/drain, youll be very pleased with the Ruvati.

> 3 dayHowever the brackets to hold in place are horrible to work with. The smallest bump in a tight spot will knock them out. I was extremely irritated with this. As for the quality the packaging and the look of everything I’m 100% Satisfied.

> 3 dayI love this sink. Our plumber loved it, too (he went on about wealthy clients -not moi, we not wealthy - insisting upon sinks and faucets that require lots of time to retrofit because they are not of topnotch quality, and how hed rather have a quick job with nice materials -such as the Ruvati sink and Kraus (KPF-2130) faucet that I chose, than rack up hours with stuff that looks good but wont last). I cook a lot and wanted a deep single sink for pot filling, dirty cookware depositing, etc. This fit the bill and It is simple and of very high quality. It is heavy stainless steel. Care is thus predictable and easy. The (also stainless, with rubber feet) drain grid needs removal and cleaning regularly - no big deal, but it helps the sink not scratch. Look up simple elegance and this sink might be there! Another consideration: we cannot afford to replace our counters now, but I purchased the sink (and faucet) with that eventuality in mind. The sink is overmounted on our cheapish composite counter, but the plumber has confirmed that when we replace the counter, the sink can easily be undermounted with the included hardware!

> 3 dayThis is a first class 16 gauge stainless sink. Since is 10 deep it cannot be drawn so it is welded. Perfection is what I would call it. Deep strainer basket. A stopper that actually works. If I were the manufacturer I would have put additional clamps on each side (close) to the single hole. A sink this size will have a large (tall) faucet and therefore someone will pull on the tall neck. The stainless will flex. Is this a problem? NO. However people tend to be abusive. Do I think this could cause a problem in years to come? I doubt it as it have to be deliberate to work 16 gauge enough to either crack or bend. Just my thought on what is a perfectly fine sink and well worth the money. And the 10 depth allows to was the dishes and not have to change a soaking wet shirt! 5 STARS EASILY!

> 3 dayI purchased this sink after thorough consideration and return of 2 other sinks that did not work well with our kitchen style. This one was the perfect size, fit and goes well with our kitchen style. The installation was simple, the finished product looks great in my kitchen. It comes with every thing you need to know and the customer care response team is very good in answering questions if you have any. All in all I would give it 4.5 stars. Even after months we continue to get compliments on our sink. The only downside I feel in months of usage is that the basin couldve been a little more inclined so the extra water collected in corners would percolate with gravity. But its a minor con compared to all the compliments we get on it as well as the ease of use with it particularly with the inside basin grill that comes with it. Saves it from a lot of wear and tear and scratches. All in all It is well worth it compared to much pricier items. Thanks.
