> 3 dayI love my ssd great fit for the steam deck, I recommend using the stock shield just carefully peel it apart and put it around the new drive it is slightly thicker so I had to do that. Also for deck users having problems upgrading with the black screen cursor issue, a faster usb is a must not a recommend usb 3, and run Rufus 3.18 you can find it on the github on Rufus website.

> 3 dayThis not only is a spec monster in performance but its also such a beautiful piece of tech. Comes in a rose gold case thats super nice looking. Performance has been outstanding on my 1TB chip. My read and write speeds have doubled and notice a significant difference in load times while maintaining proper battery life. It was super hard to install but you play as you go and the brain figures it out. Deckready on youtube is a great person to follow while you do it. Not only was this ssd made for the steamdeck by a great company but it also performs just as good as any top preforming ssd on the market, if not the best preforming!. You might pay 20-40 dollars more for a new ssd like this but in my opinion its worth it. You dont have to deal with any secondary used market issues and you know what your getting straight from the factory. Sure you could pick up a used/new_other BC711 or PM991A ssd (which are also top performers) for around 125 on ebay but I didnt want to deal with the potential problems and stressors of having something go wrong with a pulled out and used ssd. If you share half my views, this is your item, right here!

> 3 dayPretty good SSD for the steam deck. Good price and it does what it just designed to do. Gave me a lot more space on my system overall and I can install way more games than you could on a 512 GB SSD. Definitely worth the buy pretty good brand too.

Greater than one weekPopped into the steamdeck (Ifixit has a good tutorial along with the one sabrent did in the product page video) Pulled down a restore image from valve, flashed new image on there. Works great. Note: When you first flash the image onto the deck, the buttons will potentially not work (but touchscreen does), after steamos updates the drivers and restarts, they will start working (at least in my case).

> 3 dayWhen I realized this was an option for my Steam Deck, it was easy to make the decision to get the 64gb Steam Deck. It was easy to install, and I’ve even noticed faster loading times in some games! **I meant to come back to this, but truly wanted to test everything before editing. So, after the above game was installed, I tested load times and compared them with videos I had recorded before I swapped it out. When I was watching videos online of people comparing their load times within game, it didnt seem or feel like it mattered; most people generally buy these to increase memory. Anyway, when I experienced myself, I realized that those seconds do indeed matter. Games like GTA or Cyberpunk where the load times are long regardless, you dont really process the difference. But, in other games like FFVII Remake and Hogwarts Legacy, I noticed quicker load times, which I mentioned previously, did make a difference.

> 3 dayUntil they release a M.2 2TB, this is by far a must have. Easy to install and the videos to install was a breeze.

> 3 dayEasy install in my new 64 gb Steamdeck. Just follow iFixIt’s great tutorials. Cheaper and better solution than purchasing a 512 gb Steamdeck. Buy a non-glare screen protector and a 64 gb with this SSD becomes the high end model, but with 1 tb rather than 512 gb.

> 3 daySo i bought this ssd for my steam deck and it works like a charm. Just to remind you that when you replaced the original internal ssd you need to reinstall the steam os. And theres a lot of tutorial in youtube that you can watch so dont worry. Once you finished all the setup you will be very happy that you decided to choose the 64gb and saves bunch.

Greater than one weekI actually ordered this SSD before I ordered my Steam Deck. I ended up getting my Deck (64 gb) before the SSD so I ran games for a couple of days on SD card. Huge difference in load times when I upgraded to the SSD. Installing in Deck was fairly easy. I was able to get metal shield around SSD. 1 TB is a great size for the Steam Deck. It really is amazing how many games you can have on the Deck.
