> 3 dayI was worried that it would mess up my steam deck, or that I would mess it up installing it. I just followed the instructions online. Make sure to take out your micro SD card and make sure to unplug the battery! And replace the metal heat shield from the stock one to your sabrent. No difference in battery only better faster storage!!!!

> 3 daySo far I have 0 complains to it. Worked well with my steam deck. The card shield when you put it on the new card might be a bit tight. But do it slowly, and it will fit like the original.

> 3 dayDeck has 1TB ssd now. Reimagine process took longer than the actual physical install. I didn’t have a setup to clone the SSDs. Don’t freak when the Deck boots up from the reimage. Only my touchscreen was working. None of the buttons worked before an update occurred. After the reimage, an update occurre, everything worked! Time will tell how much faster the SSD is. I think I’m limited by the deck’s SSD bus.

> 3 dayUntil they release a M.2 2TB, this is by far a must have. Easy to install and the videos to install was a breeze.

Greater than one weekThis is made for the Steam Deck. Look on YouTube for the how to video for the installation process. It is super easy. Watch the video a couple of times before you start. My load times are quick enough for me to notice and my fan doesnt run as much. Next stop is a Sabrent 1tb micro sd and then JSAUX.com for the clear back plate and the hub kit mod case.

> 3 dayOk yeah Im that person, I picked this up for my Steam Deck and it served its purpose until the 2TB version came out and now that is in the Steam Deck ... but what to do with this? I put it in a small 2230 external drive case and it is now my Windows 10 Boot partition when I want to boot my Steam Deck into Windows. It is sufficiently fast for the tasks it does, temps are reasonable (never really above like 65*C) and it just works. Sabrent knocks it out of the park once again.
