> 3 dayI really needed this to work. I have two special needs boys and this was perfect. I was in an accident and had to have their car seats replaced. They had bonded with those car seats and several seats later they still couldnt stay sitting or releasing the main seatbelt. My oldest gets out of everything and on a trip down the freeway we nearly died with him lunging from the back it was interesting to say the least. I ordered this after looking through so many fix its. We used this for the first time and he wasnt able to get out! Baby brother had a bit of a panic because he couldnt get brother and himself out, but we had a safe ride to therapy! I almost cried. They are escape artists, so I check pockets and the back seats for any lock-picking devices and so far we are golden. Thank you for this peace of mind. Well be hopefully ordering more for Grandparents car as well soon. :)

> 3 dayThis is a must have product for anyone with a special needs child that constantly unbuckles themself. My 6 year old with nonverbal autism was repeatedly unbuckling her 5 point harness car seat no matter what I did to try and prevent her from unbuckling. We decided to switch her to the regular seat belt in a booster seat and so far after installing this buckle device, she hasn’t been able to get out of the lap portion of the belt. She can still remove the shoulder part of the belt, but at least with the lap portion still on she can’t get out of her seat while I’m driving.

21-11-2024I purchased the safety latch for my vehicle for my special needs grandson, who can unlock his seat beat and this scared me terrible, so when I found the seat belt latch I was very excited. I purchased one for me and one for his parents.

> 3 dayBought it to keep my 3 year old from unbuckling her car seat as it is highly unsafe to have a car seat that is not secure. It works amazing for that. Gone are the days we had to pull over every few miles to stop and re-fasten the seatbelt. That said this isnt an outsmart your kid device. Any child with access to a thin object like a key will be able to unfasten it. I dont allow her access to such an object so that is not an issue in my case.

> 3 dayOur 16 year old with special needs had been riding in a car seat for well over 10 years, lately because he couldnt unbuckle it. He started letting us know he was too big for it so we found an alternative to keep him safely buckled. Its simple and effective. Pro tip: lock the seatbelt so your kid cant wiggle themselves out. We keep at least two in the car, one for him and one so we can keep him from unbuckling the loud and complainy one sitting next to him.

> 3 dayI read the reviews and saw one that said the buckle cover fits Chrysler Pacifica belts. It does not work on my 2021.

> 3 dayMy 14 yr old son has a neurological issue that has caused him to decline and he was taking off his seatbelt and trying to open the car door. This easily keeps the buckle secured until I’m ready. Easy to unlock. No hassle. Bought 2 more for my husband and daughter to use when they have my son in the car.
