My dog kept stepping on the seatbelt latch and releasing the belt. This gadget prevents that.

This product does not interfere with the seatbelt safety at all. It fits easily over the buckle receiver and the buckle goes into a slot that is plenty large enough. It is easy enough to unbuckle using a car, house, or other key inserted into a slot that covers the release button for the buckle. My child was not able to unbuckle herself, which kept her safe. We have used this on several car rides since receiving it.

I only use the part that goes on the clip insert but it works great. It sits on the clip insert (the female part) rather loosely, but once the belt (male) part goes in, it has nowhere to go. Absolutely keeps my autistic little one from unbuckling herself.

Cheap plastic will not work for what I was trying to use it for.

I actually bought this for my mother who has Alzheimer’s and it works perfect she was doing the same as a very active young toddler might with taking the seatbelt off (while I was driving) I kept pulling over to the side of the road to put it back on and she would snatch it out again so this solved that issue and safety is of no concern now! Easy to use no gimmicks easy to takeoff!

I LOVE this product! It comes with the buckle cover and the clamp to prevent the seatbelt from getting pulled loose through the booster seat. The buckle button cover portion is very sturdy... I accidentally ran it over with my car, and no cracks or stress Marks at all! My child likes to get out of his seat when Im driving and that is one of the scariest things! Hes only gotten out of this twice... because I didnt clamp the seatbelt close enough. This is perfect for Houdini toddlers and extra special adults who need extra precautions. Genius idea and works very well! The only thing I would change is to have a little break off bar you can jam into the hole if you need to unbuckle them in an emergency.

My autistic son sometimes has tantrums and will unblock seat belt or try to slide out for the seat belt now that he’s old enough for a booster. Peace of mind when I can’t pull over right away to guide him through the tantrum. He’s upset but I know he can’t unbulk or get out from the seat belt.

Good for kiddie seat - not for special needs . The buckle is smallish --- will not fit on many minivans and SUVs that I am familar with. It is to difficult to install and unlock due to its smallish size.

Our 3 year old figured out how to remove it within a day.

I have a 8 year old son with autism. We recently switched from harness mode to high back booster mode with his car seat. He kept unbuckling his seat belt on the high way or in town and my husband and I were constantly pulling over to buckle him back in. He even climbed into the passenger seat. I purchased two of these (one for my car, and one for my husbands car) and they arrived in two days. Very easy to use and they work!!!! Our son is unable to unbuckle himself. We use are car keys to unlock his seat belt. Easy. My only complaint is that you have to store it somewhere until ready to use it again and it could get losses. Weve been storing them in our cars hidden. Lol. I will be buying one more for his grandmas car.
