> 3 dayPurchased this to keep my special needs son safe. He doesnt understand the danger of not being buckled and likes to move around in the car. LIFESAVER! Keeps him secure and is saving my sanity of pulling over repeatedly to rebuckle him. Id buy this a thousand times over!

> 3 dayI returned because I could not get the strap or second piece to close around my belt material. The piece that covers the ejection button works great but if it is the only piece you use, other companies sell for less and include a key like option. This does not—you supply the key to unlock. The option to have the belt be unable to stretch was why I wanted to try this product. My son couldn’t unbuckle with the ejection cover but was able to extend the belt until he could step out. I was able to get a refund without returning the product.

19-11-2024My son is SN and likes to unbuckle his seat belt, so I needed to find something. Found this product and its PERFECT! Does the trick, just put it right on top of the click button and all you need is a key to unbuckle. (At first i thought it would be super inconvenient to have to get the key to unlock, but its literally 3 seconds of movement) :) thank you for selling this amazing product!!!

> 3 dayWhen I arrived at the vets and opened the back door and my dog took off, I thought my seatbelt latch was broken because they ride in the car with a harness on and attached to a tether. I finally figured out what happene My large heavy dogs stepped on the release and the tether came out. It happened again so I was rather desperate for a solution. This is perfect. Now they stay put and safe.

Greater than one weekMy autistic son sometimes has tantrums and will unblock seat belt or try to slide out for the seat belt now that he’s old enough for a booster. Peace of mind when I can’t pull over right away to guide him through the tantrum. He’s upset but I know he can’t unbulk or get out from the seat belt.

> 3 dayOkay, this does solve my biggest problem which is my SN twins unbuckling themselves. That being said the clamp thing that is supposed to go around the actual seat belt - useless. I dont know if they are unaware of the thickness of a seat belt but there is no way that it will close around the cloth portion of a seat belt. No way. I tried it, my dad tried it and my brother, who is very strong, tried it. None of us could squeeze it tight enough to get it even close to closing. BUT I am giving the set 4 stars because the other part is WONDERFUL!! Easy to use and they are unable to unbuckle themselves. No big deal for me to use a key to unbuckle through the guard when I want to get them out. I will say that I keep a seat belt cutter in my center console just in case of emergencies. Now I just have to solve the problem of them sliding out from the bottom of the seat belt...ugh.

> 3 dayThe product is well designed and would work for most children. However, my 17 year old daughter (5 tall, 95 lbs) was able to break it and unbuckle her seatbelt, creating a potentially unsafe situation on the highway. Smaller and younger children probably would not be able to break this product, however. I should note that the manufacturer directly refunded my purchase immediately upon hearing about my experience with their product.

> 3 dayAn answer I was looking for. Unable to buckle himself or get out out of the seat. An affordable way to stop the unbuckling of the belt.

> 3 dayI got this set to stop the child car seat from being accidentally unbuckled by a rear adult passenger, and to use the locking clip for a car seat that doesnt have a built-in lock-off. I thought it would be easier than the typical metal ones (like the Diono Superlock for example). The buckle cover does what it says, although its a little bit loose which made it annoying to use with a seat belt locking clip that actually does its job. I say do its job because the locking clip in this kit is a totally useless piece of junk! Even with nothing between the two arms, you need to fidget it into alignment to close the little plastic latch at the end. Now, if you have any kind of fabric in between the arms (which is the WHOLE POINT), its literally impossible to a) close the arms tight and b) close the clip. In hindsight, I have no idea if this rather chintsy plastic locking clip is safe to use with a child seat in a vehicle, so its probably good that I was forced to go back to the metal locking clips.
