> 3 dayMy 14 yr old son has a neurological issue that has caused him to decline and he was taking off his seatbelt and trying to open the car door. This easily keeps the buckle secured until I’m ready. Easy to unlock. No hassle. Bought 2 more for my husband and daughter to use when they have my son in the car.

> 3 dayDon’t understand what the longer piece is for but the part to cover the seatbelt button is the best easy to install and even easier to uninstall takes seconds to take off if needed and as for my son trying to get it off he’s tried so hard but he can’t get it undone and yes you can use any key to uninstall

> 3 dayI absolutely recommend this to anyone who has a toddler that likes to unbuckle . There is no way it can be undone without a key or small thin object to put down in the hole to push the button. I use it to buckle the car seat in the car.

> 3 dayOkay, this does solve my biggest problem which is my SN twins unbuckling themselves. That being said the clamp thing that is supposed to go around the actual seat belt - useless. I dont know if they are unaware of the thickness of a seat belt but there is no way that it will close around the cloth portion of a seat belt. No way. I tried it, my dad tried it and my brother, who is very strong, tried it. None of us could squeeze it tight enough to get it even close to closing. BUT I am giving the set 4 stars because the other part is WONDERFUL!! Easy to use and they are unable to unbuckle themselves. No big deal for me to use a key to unbuckle through the guard when I want to get them out. I will say that I keep a seat belt cutter in my center console just in case of emergencies. Now I just have to solve the problem of them sliding out from the bottom of the seat belt...ugh.

> 3 dayThis is a must have product for anyone with a special needs child that constantly unbuckles themself. My 6 year old with nonverbal autism was repeatedly unbuckling her 5 point harness car seat no matter what I did to try and prevent her from unbuckling. We decided to switch her to the regular seat belt in a booster seat and so far after installing this buckle device, she hasn’t been able to get out of the lap portion of the belt. She can still remove the shoulder part of the belt, but at least with the lap portion still on she can’t get out of her seat while I’m driving.

> 3 dayFor 20+ years, from the time our profoundly cognitively impaired son outgrew his car-seat, weve been dealing with awkward and expensive harness systems. For all his impairments, undoing a seat belt seemed to come naturally to him. Hes 29 now, and the Mama is not a spring chicken anymore: it was getting really challenging to deal with the harness on a 61 young man. I saw this gizmo, and for $12, I thought Id give it a try. And it works!! A little awkward putting it on the seat belt receptacle the first time with him helping me with the seatbelt, but once I got him to leave it alone, it was easy as pie. We love this thing! Just bought another one for when we inevitably lose it somewhere. I want to have one always at the ready.

> 3 dayIt’s great for toddlers that like to unbuckle the seat belt. My toddler son has tried many times & couldn’t unbuckle it. I love it & now don’t have to worry if he’s going to unbuckle the seat belt while I’m driving.!

> 3 dayThis product is a great solution for keeping our special-needs child buckled in when were driving in the car. It works great with standard-size seatbelts. My SUV has Fords new air-bag inflatable seat belts in the middle row that has a larger than standard buckle. I unfortunately havent found a lock that will fit those buckles, but this works great in my wifes car or if we use it in the 3rd row of my car which has standard seat belts. You just have to be careful what theyre holding while theyre buckled in as my child has found out how to unbuckle using objects like sun glasses or small toys.
