SAMSUNG 860 QVO 1TB Solid State Drive (MZ-76Q1T0B/AM) V-NAND, SATA 6Gb/s, Quality and Value Optimized SSD

Worked for 12 hours. Then failed to read or write. Returning.

So Purchased February 2020....I was getting check disk for consistency, and windows failed to start messages randomly throughout the year for the first year of using this SSD. On year 2, it was becoming more frequent. In the past month it is literally happening daily. Failure to start, check disk pre boot scanning, and its always finding errors. I have a dual boot system, I have the Samsung Pro 512GB NVME and i never get these errors, this QVO is basically junk sorry, the reliablity is terrible, I have such sensitive data its so risky to keep it on the QVO models, and I dont write to the disk much at all. Its used mostly for storage purposes only. I will contact Samsung for warranty and change my star rating if approved. Update: samsung magician detecting LBA Failing.

I got 2 of these on sale for 90 dollars. One is in my moms work laptop and one is in my gaming laptop being used as a steam game storage drive. Currently all I hold on mine is Destiny 2 and Tera. Definetly good for the price. Performs quickly and quietly. No issues regarding read or write speed.

Easy to use on my MacBook. Moves large files quickly! Love using this to record lectures and save them here.

Fast SATA storage at a great value. Ill be running two of these in a raid 0 configuration for a total of 4 tb of fast gaming storage for my gaming rig.

Ill admit, my son installed it for me. You will need to mirror your Windows or buy new when you install. Im glad my son knew what he was doing. It works great and added some speed to my old laptop.
