My computer hardware is getting a little dated so slow program loading was starting to become an issue. Instead of a new processor which, for me, would have required a new motherboard and ram, I bought this little guy. Everything loads very very very quickly. I have my old hard drives still in the computer but I’m not sure I’ll need them any time soon. At 1TB, I’m not worried about filling it up too quickly.

I literally took me 12 minute to transfer my Operating System from a older SSD to this SSD using Mini Partition Wizard. About 2 week ago my older brother cleaned up a older 240GB AData SSD drive that had quite a bit of running time on it. Rather than waiting for it some kind of error on it I was like Just play it safe with a New and Reliable SSD Drive. My Seagate I was using for my O.S. had over 65,000 + hours on it and was starting to give errors here and there. Now I boot up in 30 Seconds too and all my programs launch faster. Win.

The product is great and useful

A little frustrating trying to get Windows 10 to work

Painless installation. Plugged in to a usb adapter, cloned the old HDD, swapped drives and booted up without problems. Old laptop is lightning fast now. Installed Samsung Magician for good measure but the firmware is already up to date.

A lot of reviews complain of data degradation, inability to read some data, not able to copy some data.

I put this into an old 2013 iMac and the performance increase was ridiculous. Made it feel like a whole new machine. If you don’t have an m2 slot for an nvme drive, I would definitely recommend this!!
