    I have 16 of these 2TB Samsung 870 EVO drives in various machines, and 4 have failed with less than a year of use. That seems like a pretty high failure rate. Otherwise they are pretty nice, certainly they are fast.

    Using as a backup drive and so far so good. MSFT has made it very difficult to find their system tools for backing up but they are in Win11 through control panel. How long until they remove this capability in a future upgrade?

    Samsung SSDs never go wrong, whenever I need something for heavy gaming, I always look towards these SSDs first before anything else, easy to install, and has great speed for gaming from there. Never had a complaint over the many years of using these SSDs.
