Greater than one weekThis drive went corrupt/failed after 1 year of use. Lost data. Never again. I will be pulling all these from our desktop workstations within my company. We cannot risk losing data. Do some google research on this drive. Known issues! Yet nothing is done about it.

> 3 dayI ordered this 4TB SSD to store my large music library. Initially, it seemed to format OK and work. Next thing I knew my computer wouldnt recognize the SSD. Ive never seen an SATA SSD drive behave this way, this fast. Im glad it failed before I copied my music collection to it. I tried the Samsung 870 EVO SSD in another computer and got the same result: dead. I also tried putting it in my external StarTech USB3 dock. Again, it wasnt recognized -- simply not there - stone cold dead! Obviously, a clunker from the beginning. All my other (and older Intel 520, Intel 730, Crucial MX200, MX300) SSDs work fine in both of my Ubuntu Linux computers and, I will add are built a lot better. The Samsung 870 EVO looks and feels like cheap plastic or very thin aluminum that wont hold up over time. $380.00 should buy better quality than this. I returned it to Amazon via their new QR code return system via UPS.

Greater than one weekEasy to upgrade... best thing one can do to increase laptop performance (after adding sufficient DRAM). Mis-delivered - but USPS found it quickly and got to me.

> 3 dayI wanted to update my 2011 MacBook Pro instead of buying a new one for $2k+. Going from an HDD to an SSD, what a difference in my older laptop. I also upgraded my RAM and battery. Thing runs better than when I bought it new! It was an easy process, except I couldn’t find my set of tools to switch out the screws. Other than that, simple process for someone who hasn’t worked on computers in 20+ years.

> 3 daySamsung SSDs are a great choice for any suitable PC. I have had six of them without any issues.
