12-06-2025Fast reliable pcie3.0. If your motherboard has pcie4.0 i would get one that supports that as its twice as fast. But if your like me upgrading a small ssd that my gaming laptop came with a couple years ago this will maximize your pc. This has made my laptop keep up with modern games it was struggling with.

Greater than one weekJust a heads up to anyone buying this drive Samsung switched out the Phoenix controller on this SSD and its using a in-house controller that offers poorer performance in certain tests and to top it off Samsung didnt change skus only way you can tell if you got the slower drive is by checking the model number on the drive itself. Personally I think the new drives should be cheaper if they offer slower performance.

> 3 dayOMG I added this to a NUC that has a Samsung Pro, it blew the old 870 Pro out of the water with speed, and its 4x the capacity... The software that comes with it (download) made it simple to move everything to the new drive... AWESOME!

Greater than one weekThis SSD sped up my system by so much. If you have an HDD or non NVME SSD I highly recommend getting one of these to put windows on. My boot time went from about 45 seconds to 10 seconds, and every program and game I have installed on it boots up super fast too. Super easy to install, just slide into the slot and youre good.

> 3 dayGot this for $150 around black Friday and cannot be happier. This is hands down the best Gen 3 nVME a prosumer/gamer can buy. If you land in either of those categories and want the best then this is it. These drives are godlike.
