> 3 dayGot this because I was low on space on my laptop. Adding it as a second ssd fixed that problem nicely. If youre intending this as your only disk, you should consider going up to 1T.

> 3 dayEven with a board that can run pcie-4 I went with another 970 evo, the benchmarks show no difference in loading times for games, which is what I care about most. Ive ran another 970 evo for years and had no issues so I went with it again. Its a great drive and I know I can trust Samsung SSDs. Highly recommend.

Greater than one weekAn excellent drive, great capacity, and very fast. I didnt do any speed tests for the drive itself, but all file transfers were very fast, even transferring hundreds of gigabytes. It took several tries to get the drive to show up in drive manager, but it might have been an issue with my m.2 port, as it had never been used and Ive had it for years.

> 3 dayI replaced a 1 TB 970 EVO Plus with this drive ; the extra storage is great. Installation is a snap and it is faster than my old 1 TB 970 EVO. It runs quite a bit hotter than the old one. Ill get a heatsink for this one.

> 3 dayI installed on my laptop as C: Drive (gaming laptop, 6 years old) and the speeds for READ/Write were 500 lower than advertised. I took the 970 out of my laptop and put it in my gaming PC, D: Drive and the speeds for R/W were spot on. (Using Samsung magician)
