970 evo plus, 960 evo, 980 have all failed on me out of the blue. kept buying a new one to replace the failed one but after 3 times Im finally switching to another brand. such garbage being sold by samsung now. over $300 for 1 years use of 1TB. its got great storage and is fast but with no reliability. I hate rebuilding my OS from scratch every year due to the SSD no longer booting.

I purchased the 970 Evo Plus ssd and can not register it. According to Samsung the SSD I was sent, was meant for sale in Australia and therefore can not be registered in the U.S.

This ssd is very good one. I bought the 2 Tb since I just wanted to stick with these and keep my build clean a less cluttered! This memory filled the bill. I am that happy with my first purchase that I just bought a second one just to have plenty of storage in my pc. Also my first one is covered with my mobo heatsink, but this other one is not going to have any, so I wanted it to be displayed it through my tempered glass panel! Also this card is a better deal if you compare with the pro Samsung version, and got better number as well! You cant go wrong with this!

I use this for storing data for use with tensorflow on CentOS7 and Ubuntu 18. Lightning fast, cuts my model training time by more than 70%.

What else is there to say? The product is excellent as everyone says. Very happy with my purchase, operates quickly and effeciently.

This 2tb holds all my games and I have a 1tb for Windows and random apps. Super fast load times! Very pleased. Will probably get another when I inevitably fill it up!
