I benchmarked using both the Samsung Magician software and CrystalDiskMark8--in both softwares this drive met (within a reasonable margin) the advertised Sequential Read and Write speeds on every run. Its blazing fast and its good capacity for the money. I dont see a reason to buy any other NVMe SSD than this one give the current market (early 2021).

I needed some additional storage for my new LG Gram laptop (17Z90Q) and after doing some research, decided on the Samsung 1TB 970 EVO Plus SSD. The laptop came with a Samsung 1TB Solid State Drive so it made sense to me to keep within brand.

I have bought thousands of items off amazon throughout the years and this is the first product I have ever been inclined to leave a review on. I bought this SSD in August and installed it into my brand new Razer Blade 15. I was very impressed with the speed, and it ran great for about 9 months. This morning, my computer randomly shut down and refused to boot. BIOS did not recognize the SSD. I put another hard drive in and it booted up perfectly. I updated the BIOS and tried the 970 EVO Plus again with no luck. I called Samsung and they told me it was defective and that they would send me a new one. Unfortunately they said the data from the broken drive cannot be recovered. I did not get a chance to back up anything because I have never had a hard drive fail within the first year of owning it. I am finding myself once again let down by another amazon product with excellent reviews. This one stings a little more though. Pictures, documents, and video game progress are not replaceable.

En el poco tiempo de uso. e siente la velocidad de arranque, intalación y ejecución de programas. Tenía dudas por la lectura y escritura dejándome muy satisfecho. En los juegos solo notará la velocidad en instalación y el arranque.

I just replaced the 128GB factory M.2 memory on my Dell 9630 with this 512GB unit. Im blown away by the speed difference. It boots up in a fraction of the time that it took with the OEM unit. I did not know there was so much difference in speed among SSD devices. Buy this. Its worth it.

Ordered this drive to get away from SATA SSDs and HDDs and Im happy with its performance. Easy to install and works as advertised. It is one of the more pricey 2TB Gen3 NVME drives on the market; you get what you pay for. I got it for $199, worth every penny.
