> 3 dayI just completed a new computer build with this as the primary storage device. I was not sure what to expect in terms of speed compared to sata ssds that I have been using. I read many reviews prior to purchasing this device and I was shocked how fast this drive is.

> 3 dayI bought this 970 evo since it has a good reputation and read/write speed. I really enjoy using this for building computers for people as well. Just a fyi to anyone buying this. If you wish to have only a M.2 for storage look into a 2TB. Games/media are taking a great deal of space. So just a small fair warning.

> 3 dayIf you can take it at a discount, its an excellent purchase, it has a huge difference compared to an HDD, in my case it worked for my laptop (ASUS M509DA)

> 3 dayI remember when I had upgraded my old build from an hdd to an ssd and how game changing it was. With the new build I decided to buy into the hype a bit, and the added bonus of less cables to manage was a great motivator. This thing is a game changer, and so so fast. If you arent sure if its worth it, I can tell you that there is a very noticeable difference in game load times between this and my old 850 evo sata ssd. The second best part was eliminating 2 more cords. Highly recommend!

> 3 dayWhen I bought a new computer in November 2019, for my video editing, a Dell Precision M7740, I learned it had FOUR slots for solid-state hard drives. I ordered the machine with two of the slots filled, but then I wanted to have more capacity, so I ordered two of these EVO 970 drives to fill the other two slots.

> 3 dayMy XPS 13 originally came with a Samsung PM951 M.2 SSD, which wasnt bad, but was only 256gb. Soon after purchase I upgraded it to a Samsung 960 Pro of 512gb. Ironically that drive wasnt so much incredibly faster than the OEM drive, which is probably because being on the smaller size of the line, there was less parallelism amongst the nand. I upgraded to this 970 Evo Plus 2tb and it is a rocketship. Very noticeable improvement. I havent run benchmarks, because others have done that, but the feel of daily driving is improved.
