> 3 dayI always thought the idea of an iPad type device was kind of pointless. I have a phone, a big computer monitor, and an even bigger TV. What would I even do with a tablet?

Greater than one weekThe SIM card does not say Verizon or have the required ID number on it. Spent hours on tech support before they said I need to visit one of their stores. I BUY DIRECT FROM NOW ON.

> 3 dayI have a desktop, phone and laptop. I tried this primarily because it had good reviews for handwriting to text recognition, and I thought it would be helpful for taking notes by hand. But I guess my handwriting style is uniquely unsuited to recognition software, because when I tried multiple times to use the writing to text feature, it always required retyping the entire note, defeating the purpose. I gave up and returned the tablet and went back to my yellow pad.

> 3 dayI didn’t think I could like anything this much!! I’ve been an Apple type of girl for years and this screen quality has blown me away!!! The images on it look as if you can reach into it!! It is stunning!! Have to admit it, way better than my IPad !

Greater than one weekWorks great. I use it for school purposes and a single game called: clash royale. Along with the S-pen, Samsung was kind enough to include Noteshelf for me to use to take some notes and do homework. The display is satisfactory in that it is large enough to comfortably read E-books without feeling like Im holding a monitor in my hands.

Greater than one weekAt first the tablet was great BUT after a few days there were issues. The first was the tablet continuously updated for 2 weeks and finally stopped updating. The second is “ghost tapping.” In the middle of typing the screen jumps to something else. This happens ALL the time. If it just worked as it should it would be a great device. Photos are clear, screen image is crisp BUT not enough to keep the tablet.

> 3 dayIm not a tablet guy. I prefer laptops, but my daughter found that her Lenovo Flex 5i Chromebook didnt have all the options for Tiktok, and I indulged her with this tablet. Because I have an Android phone and this tablet runs on Android, Im very familiar with the system. Set-up only took ten minutes. I put on both my Google account and my daughters. The screen looks great, the swiping on the screen works like my Samsung phone, the speakers sound good, and the tablet offers better value than the pricier iPad Air in terms of power, and included stylus. We put the protective screen cover on it and thats a good thing because after using it for 10 minutes, my daughter dropped it, split the screen cover and fortunately the actual device was unharmed. It is a must that you put a rugged case and screen cover on the Galaxy tablet. It is slippery in your hand and you will inevitably drop it. For this reason, for children and teens, I recommend you get a good Chromebook like the Lenovo Flex 5i or the Acer Spin 713 or Spin 714. I find it is more rugged, can be used as both a tablet and a laptop, and gets 7 years of updates. I believe this Galaxy only gets 4 years of updates. But if you insist on the tablet experience, I can give this Galaxy Tab S8, 5 stars.
