I bought this product on 12/19th. I save 450 g files inside before I clean up my computer. However, this hard drive stops working in the middle of January. I have important files saved in this drive. I trust this product, it is the reason that I save everything in it and keep it in a very safe place. What a mess!

This is an excellent product! I cannot say enough good things about it. It was plug-n-play for me. It is small, it runs cool to the touch and this thing is FAST!!! I bought it primarily because my company laptop has a small SSD and I needed something to handle large documents & drawings. I had an external disk drive but it was too slow. This device has met all my needs. I am using it on a Dell Precision 7750 and I am using the thunderbolt connection. Thunderbolt cable came with the SSD.

Its a great external hard drive for my editing, and videos in 4K!

I think samsung is such a great tech company. I love most of their products. The T line of their hard drives are exceptional. So easy to use and portable and fast. Im a music producer and have had the t5 for at least 3 years and its just now running out space. T7 is just as great and I love the compatibility with Samsung phones. GET THIS DRIVE, YOU WONT REGRET IT!

Outstanding

I received this item, and it was read-only and password protected. I tried to make it read/write but failed. Had no clue what the password was.

For whatever reason, I could not get my Tesla Model 3 to format this SSD drive properly through the vehicles format drive prompt (kept getting an error message), but after manually formatting it on my laptop, and plugging it back into the car, the drive works perfectly. Clips load up quickly, and Im able to view and retrieve them all with ease. If youre looking for a reliable SSD for your Teslas Sentry system, this is it, and remember, if you run into any error messages trying to format the drive, perform a manual format on your mac or pc, and that will fix it.

Works great for video editing with Final Cut Pro X on Mac, and with a bit of adhesive creativity it even velcroes to my MacBook.

With all the new cloud services these days, its hard to decide, and sometimes its just not necessary to have an external hard drive anymore. But if you have to or want to use one, this is one of the best Ive ever seen! Literally the size of a gift card, or maybe 5 stacked together if you want to gauge thickness, this little baby is backwards compatible with usb 3/2.0 and comes with the adapter cable included. Transfer speeds are so fast too! I did an entire 2gb in under 2 hours! Very stylish, and for you ladies, purse friendly. Take your movies on the go. Works with android too, although I dont have one.
