I was amazed at the speed of this product! I have downloaded large volumes of raw data photographs, and it just seems to fly right through them. I have used this drive to download photos into my editing software, edit photos, and store them, and it operates quietly, no real heat given off, and it seems to function just as fast as if they were operating out of my hard drive! I will definitely buy another as this one fills up! Only complaint is that the 2 and 4 terr. ones are still a little expensive!

Great Product and as advertised

I bought this to replace another HD that made my computer glitch like crazy. The Samsung integrates beautifully with my Dell docking station and laptop, no glitches, which means I can work faster and better. A plus for my profession.

Hot on the case after plugged in for a few minutes.

first day of use i filled it about half way and it gave out doesnt recognize on xbox or computer if i can get it on i see blinking red light before it boots off idk but was 220 and last less than a day htf... the second one came in plugged in and recognized right away so right now in trying the process of trying to get some files off of the first one... the buggy one keeps shutting off every 30 minutes if even that while the new drive so is doing as expected so ill just assume the drive (arrived like a week late) was maybe damaged or buggy either way thank you for the quick replacement. If this drive holds a month as my xbox external drive ill probably update

This product is tiny and probably perfect for someone that wants a full computer backup. We only wanted to store pictures and not go through the hassle of setting up an account with ID, passwords, etc. When we did try, ran into problems that we didnt want to deal with, so returned it via Kohls, which was very easy.
