Greater than one weekI bought this external drive for all of my film scans and digital pictures to keep it all in a reliable, safe, and portable place so I can switch between my desktop and my laptop when Im on the go and its worked wonders for me. If youre looking for something to transfer some work or important info around I highly recommend this.

> 3 dayUnlike other reviews this drive doesn’t get hot or make my computer get hot. Fairly fast. Handles a 120 gb phone back up like a champ. The one downside is when you open the drive and click on the security portal to enter the password it can hang for a while before opening. Definitely noticeable and kind of annoying

> 3 daySmall. Fast so far. Get a soft case for it. The user manual states that its a delicate unit. I am using an old point and shoot digital camera case to protect it. You might also decide to buy a suggested or people also bought case option.

> 3 daySmaller than expected. Its not heated too much, although worked for hours while writing 100K files. Doesnt achieve nominal speed when writing numerous small sized files.

> 3 dayI transferred about 300 gigs on it the first day I got it, and that took a little under 30 minutes.

> 3 dayI normally only come here to review things that I buy on Amazon, but I love this little drive so much that I wanted to post a review here. I ended up buying this at an electronics store because the drive I ordered from Amazon (different SSD) wouldnt work and I needed something right away.

> 3 dayIt’s smaller and faster than a hard drive that is not solid-state. I’m using it as a time machine on my Mac
