> 3 dayWhere would I be with out this?! I did read the negative comments before buying. I am a Mac book owner and used this to help set up windows via boot camp. Ive encountered no issues! I works great for what I do and I find that it does get warm but never hot as some were saying.

> 3 dayI love this drive. It was a splurge for having spent so many years messing about with slow USB drives with large storage, and with externam mechanical drives for the capacity/$ value they offer. A 500gigs T7 SSD is a fantastic tool for passing backup system images around, for storage course lecture series or piles of movies to keep near your smart tv for when you have the itch to watch something from your digital library. Its fast enough to run full 4K right from the device without breaking a sweat. Massively useful for podcast and youtube production on a budget system, and runs 10x faster than my onboard ethernet. This drive is perfect for data scientists, graphic designers, systems administrators or to pass media between devices around the home (say you want to do audio production on a laptop system then do the video editing on a desktop with more power), handling large files as fast as an internet ssd has been a huge plus in my workflow. Great buy, no heat issues or driver issues. Runs perfectly on Linux Ubuntu as well.

Greater than one weekI am blown away by the speed. I have been editing with Final Cut Pro on a 2017 MacBook AIR of all things and pulling my hair out, even using proxy files. Export times were in the 5 hour range. Thought Id give this a try. Switched all editing to this tiny Samsung SSD. Wow is all I can say. I didnt know Final Cut could even go this fast. No need to upgrade my computer, which I dont want to do because it is light, portable, still has an SD card slot, etc. My old Western Digital External HD from Target transferred 70mb/s and this thing is transferring 400mb/s on a USB 3.0, which is more than enough for my Final Cut Pro proxies. And its so small and portable I can bring it on vacation and edit on the fly. Highly recommend.

> 3 dayI have two Samsung T7 Portable SSDs, a 1TB & 4TB. The 4TB blue one is used for music storage backup for my Hifi-Rose 150B Music Streamer/Server. The Red 1TB is used for Roon System Backups. Im not a power user so cant comment on large file transfer speeds, etc. Both of these fit my needs, take up little space, run fairly cool, and seem fast enough for transferring music and data files. Both have performed as advertised, so far. This is my first experience with SSDs, so keeping my fingers crossed.

> 3 dayI got this T7 Samsung detachable drive to transfer images and documents from. my ancient Mac to my new Mac. Its FAST (37,500 big, some multi-gig images transferred in less than 7 minutes), small, and I love that it came with 2 USB cables. 8,00 documents (many are more than 500 pages each) transferred almost instantly. One cable is USBC to USBC (new to new), but the other is old USB to USBC (old to new), enabling easy transfer from my old Mac. I didnt need tech support. Its new, so I dont know how long it will last, but its perfect for my needs.

> 3 dayI havent used it much yet other than dividing it into separate drives in order to try out different Operating systems. I am certain it will be satisfactory for that or any other purpose I may choose to use it for. I like its small size!

> 3 dayAt $250, you could do worse for two terabytes of external SSD storage for your shiny new PS5. It doesnt have the speed of a decent two terabyte NVME SSD installed in something like an Asus Arion, but at this price point, you can live with 1,000 mbps read speeds. Like the T5 and T3, the T7 works well as an external drive for either the PS4 or the PS5. Both consoles will install updates to games on the T7 if you use rest mode. The PS5 has USB 3.2 gen 2 ports, so youll realize the benefit of the T7s speeds when you play PS4 games stored externally.
