I was surprised by the size and quality of this SSD drive.

I have used this on many shoots and it has never let me down. I record directly from the BMPCC6k to this and it provides ample storage and is quick. It is also nice to just unplug and start editing from the drive and not have to transfer everything over to another drive. I highly recommend the Samsung T5 drives. They can be more expensive than other brands but the portability, speed, and reliability are well worth the price to me!

As far as speed and reliability it’s been great but, I originally bought two of them for use with gaming consoles. Neither of them will detect the T5 as a USB3.0 device or better. They work fine with my laptop as backup devices but that’s it.

This is my 5th portable SSD from Samsung. Kept a few and gave a couple to family members. Well made, good quality, fast read and write speeds all while in a small & light package. Highly Recommend. Not the cheapest portable SSD, but then, you get what you pay for!

Save your money, it is fake.

I think the price is more than fair for a full TB of storage, and was really pleased with the optional data protection/encryption you can apply to this hard drive. Great product!

A MUST HAVE IF YOUR USING BLACK MAGIC POCKET CINEMA 6K!! WORKS LIKE A CHARM. THE T7 VERSION IS FASTER BUT DOESNT WORK FOR THE CAMERA
