> 3 dayI’m a software engineer, and I live by the words “you can’t have too many backups”. The T5 is a great little SSD, and it’s pretty fast. I mostly work in VM’s, so at the end of the day I make several copies of the VM file. My 50 GB VM copies to a T5 in just under 2 minutes.

> 3 dayThis drive is just plugged and play, with no issues at all, and is set as the main backup drive. The funny thing is I ordered for my backup only to learn I had already purchased one for my wifes computer which I never put into play. Well, I decided to return it and Amazon sent me a return ticket, then I thought its a great drive and will need eventually so why send back. very happy with any and all Samsungs drives.

> 3 dayIve been using an iPad since it was first released back in 2010. I use it to capture photos and screenscap interesting articles - basically using it as a knowledge store. Over the years, Ive upgraded every other version and my trove of photos keep growing. iCloud do take care of the backup, but Ive always wanted to offload files in order to reduce iCloud fees.

Greater than one weekIt will not detect the drive if you do so. I am now stuck with a useless 1TB which is unreadable on Mojave
