After searching for a while about the storage devices in Google, Samsung T5 shows a sheer dominance in every tech reviewers list. I went for it and I am happy I made that decision. This device is extremely powerful in terms of data transfer rate, which is expected from SSD. Setup time is hardly a few seconds and you are ready to go. I transferred a few large size videos and it was transferred with a massive speed. Perhaps, the most noticeable feature is its size. This device can be carried in your jeans pocket. Its amazing to see technology is advancing at a rapid pace. I am highly satisfied so far with the usage. Not sure about the durability, only time can tell. Highly recommended.

Light weight with great portability, good quality!

I was copying a couple of VMs from my laptops SSD and could not believe my eyes when the transfer speed has hit 300MBps ... The tiny size is an added plus.

I have a drawer full of the T5s for video editing, and never had a single issue. Ive edited as many as 5 streams of high bit rate 4k footage directly off one of these with no lagging at all. Ill never edit another video project on an internal drive again!

standard format is not for Linux but easy to change it .

In choosing this SSD, I was thinking of the reputability of Samsung in production of memory chips for phones and other devices, and decided to buy this one despite the high price. I should say that I have not regretted buying it a bit! The speed of copying files is lightning fast with SSD (USB type C) and the device comes with a security software by Samsung that encrypts files on the drive. For something this small, this light, and this fast, with such large storage capacity, it is well worth the price! Also, after transitioning form conventional HDDs to SSDs, Ive stopped getting scared to death every time a drive falls on the floor! The SSDs hold up very well and since they dont have any moving parts, theres no chance of data loss and damage.
