> 3 dayExcellent upgrade for an aging Dreamcast fightstick. Install is relatively easy, but make note that you need to order a separate octagonal gate and harness.

> 3 dayI just put two of these in my old joysticks and it was simple plug and play process, both sticks feel brand new now and I highly recommend this stick.

> 3 dayI got this through Paradise Arcade via Amazon with the Octagonal Gate (sold separately). It came with everything as shown: harness, green ball top, dust washer and metal mounting plate. I noticed that there were multiple vendors selling this through Amazon and chose one based on seller reviews. I used this to swap out the stock stick in a Qanba Q1. It was a pleasant upgrade as the Qanba wiring harness works with the Sanwa JLF and the mounting holes line up exactly. I did have to re-use the mounting screws as the JLF comes with none. I opened up the stock Qanba stick and noticed that it used the same switches (Omron, made in Japan) as that of the JLF. As for feel, I do like the JLF, especially with the octagonal gate. It is so easy to pull off Ultras. The JLF size and spring tension feel just right and precise. The ball top is also of good quality on the JLF, better than the Qanba stock. So I now have a spare stick for future projects. Playing SSF4 AE is a charm with this on the PC. Real arcade parts and nice upgrade for the Q1.

> 3 dayThis is my favorite stick, the JLF-TP-8YT is an arcade perfect replacement joystick. It has great action and is a fast joystick for fighting games. You can change it to 4-way mode (from the bottom) for compatibility with classic 4-way games like Donkey Kong and Pacman.

> 3 dayI would give this a 5 start rating, but the item part number is JLF-TP-8YT-SK. With that model number, it is supposed to come with the JLF-CD black dust cover. It did not. I understand that it isnt pictured, but the model number implies that it is supposed to come with it. I didnt have any problem with the rest of the device, though, and would have given it 5 stars if it had the right model number (JLF-TP-8YT). It came with the correct T style mounting plate, the correct green sanwa balltop, the correct sanwa wiring harness, the correct 8/4 way convertible restrictor plate, the correct pcb+switches, etc. It came in the original Sanwa box. The joystick itself with the mounting plate but no ball-top is available elsewhere on the internet for cheaper, but the green ball-top and free prime shipping might make up the difference for you, so the price is fine.

> 3 dayVery well made Joystick by a well known arcade controller parts manufacturer. This company is the best quality wise for parts like this. I used mine along with Sanwas black arcade buttons to build my own controller for street fighter 5 and it worked very well. Building a controller with separate parts like this really adds to the personality of the controller. You can build it exactly to your liking with the colors that you want and with whatever wood/metal/shoeboxish material that you like. You can even just throw it into a pre made plastic box and it would still work very well. As for this actual stick, it feels very satisfying when the stick reaches the registration distance for the movement. It feels akin to using cherry mx blue keys on a mechanical keyboard: Clicky. Ive tried out my friends stick that costed him only $15 from another manufacturer, and Ive got to say that it just doesnt feel as good. It feels very muddy and the transition just doesnt feel as satisfying. This is stick is definitely worth the extra money and will probably live for a lot longer. It also comes in a lot of different colors, so you can pick and choose from whatever fits your style. At the end of the day, it really makes it a lot more enjoyable to use something like this as opposed to a normal controller, just to get that true genuine arcade feeling while still being super accessible in your own home.

> 3 dayInserted mine into a Mayflash F300. Works great, feels great. Excellent stick. I had to buy the connector cable separately since the stick didnt come with the right one for my board, but other than that there are absolutely no problems.

> 3 dayPerfect replacement stick for a Mayflash F101. Was having trouble with the stick not recognizing all the directions but I tried a different cable and flipped the cable around and it works fine now. Needs a five pin cable (sold separately), but you can get like... 5 for $3 so its no big deal. The install itself was super easy- I went into it completely blind and figured it out no problem. Absolutely recommended.

> 3 dayI know these are the best to buy for any arcade purposes. but Ive now bought 2 of these that have problems right off the bat. The first one has bad click and locking issues. The second one I bought had that and misregistered inputs I must be really unlucky to have faced two faulty sticks back to back but it makes me really not want to try again.
