Seachem Pristine Aquarium Treatment, 500ml (001438)

After clearing a snail infestation we completely emptied the tank, replaced the gravel, cleaned the UV filter, removed all plants and got a new filter. Immediately after all of that effort, we got a cottony fungus infestation that attacked and killed several fish - a dwarf guarami, 2 guppies and our big guarami (our oldest who had survived everything before). We did 3 25% water changes, gravel cleaning, manual scooping, added Clarity, Prime, Quickstart, Stress Coat, but that fungus was still everywhere, collecting on the side of the new filter and clogging it every day. I added Pristine with the next water change and filter cartridge change and within 2 days, no more fungus and clear water! Just 1 cap per water change for my 29 gallon tank is all it needs, so its a good value, too!

I cant even believe how good this stuff is. I have a 25 gallon tank that is unfortunately housing 3 ENORMOUS goldfish. My daughter won them at a fair years and years ago and I had no idea they would live for as long as they have and would grow to the colossal sizes that they have. I was obviously struggling to keep the tank clean. I had to do massive water changes everyday to keep the water from being toxic to not only the fish but to my nosehairs when I walked into my house. Along came Seachem Pristine. I bought this product exactly 1 month ago, and put 2 doses in. Believe it or not, I have not had to do a SINGLE water change in 4 weeks. The water is crystal clear and there is literally NO poop at the bottom of the tank. How is this even possible? Imagine that you have a dog that poops all over your house everyday. Imagine a spray bottle where you spray the poop and it magically disappears and keeps working for an entire month. THATS what this product does. I have no idea how. It must be magic.

Ive always used Seachem, and always will. Great products. Visible results.

I’m disappointed that I’ve not used this before. Thought the water was clear before, but now it’s even better. It does a great job keeping the algae in control as well.

I thought would change the water quality but not change any also This product doesnt even smell. like just water they are selling water lol
