Seachem Pristine Aquarium Treatment, 500ml (001438)

Seachem is the brand I stick with when it comes to maintaining my freshwater tank. I really like that this helps in maintenance and keeping the water stable. In conjunction with Prime, it keeps my water its best! I test my water every couple weeks, and it always gives me great results.

The only caveat is to be sure you turn off blue lights for a few days to bacteria can thrive in gravel!

No signs of improvement- dont waste your time or money

This stuff is really great. It makes the water crystal clear.

So far I havent seen it do anything to amaze me. If that changes Ill update it but right now Im thinking I wasted good money on water. 5/1/17. So Ive been using this on my 60gal with 5 bottle nose plecos and it does work. Those guys love to make a mess and since Ive started doing a bit of the maintenance dosages the sludge is cleaned up maybe I can cut back from the two marine land filters Im running.

Ive used many different type of beneficial bacteria over the years. Last few years I preferred fluvals but, it did not get rid of the bacteria from fatty foods that leave a film on the surface of the water. A few cap fulls of Pristine and a few hours later the oily film is almost gone. Im impressed with the bacteria culture Seachem has in their product.
