Seachem Pristine Aquarium Treatment, 500ml (001438)

This product does nothing...no change in nitrates and phosphate levels. I returned it and ended up buying Red Sea NoPox and it work great.

This is a good product to keep your aquarium clear

Works well, plants are thriving.

I add this to every water change. I feel that the hardy beneficial bacteria it has benefits the Seachem matrix I have in my hang on back filter.

This really helps to keep my three tanks and an indoor pond looking clear.

I generally like Seachem products but this is the third shipment I am having problems with Seachem products. This item was mailed in a bubble envelope and it was leaking from the top and it was really warm (Texas heat). I added the recommended amount to my tank and I noticed white spots (ICK?) on my fish next day. I unfortunately lost two large cichlids the next day. I of course cannot say whether the product was contaminated or it caused stress on the fish but I blame myself for using a potentially contaminated product.
