Sennheiser Professional HD 280 PRO Over-Ear Monitoring Headphones

If you dont know anything about sound, dont need qaulity headphones, arent willing to do the research on why this is such a good set of headphones, dont have a preamp, or just want them because theyre top of the line, dont buy them.

I love these. Very comfortable and amazingly clear sound. Dont buy the extention code recommended by Amazon as the headphones are small jacks and the buy with extension code has the larger phono jacks requiring adapters to connect.

I was debating between these and the ATH-M50x for office use. The passive 32db of noise attenuation sold me. I work in a pretty noisy open office environment, and the passive sound blocking was great. It also feels comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised by how good the product is. The coiled cable is great, too, for those of you like me that tend to run over or step on your own headphone cables.

I hate the coiled cord. Also the cord is not replaceable by a 3rd-party cord, i.e. it does not connect to the headphones by a simple 3.5 mm plug or other.

Im not some kind of audiophile, so my review is basic. They sound great, they fit and feel good. I cant hear sound bleed when my husband is blaring them in his ears... So I love them !

Quite disspointing sound quality. Pretty tinny sounding. The accuracy isnt too good really either. Returning them.

Great headphones and sound for the price. I was a bit surprised when I first tried them out on my ipod, since they dont shape the sound so to speak. After toying around with the equalizer a bit they sounded more suitable for listening to music as opposed to monitoring (their intended use.)

Noise attenuation was not what id expected, it was less effective than shutting my bedroom door. though there was noticeable attenuation, it just was not enough. This was my main use case
