This steam mop is wonderful. I like that I do not have to use chemicals on my floor since I have 2 dogs. It has been so helpful since I recently got a puppy and if there are any accidents it is easy to clean up quickly. It also kills any scent so she doesnt keep peeing in the same spot. Would recommend. I even bought my sister one and she loves hers!

I love the 2 extra large size mops you get with it. It was very easy to assemble. Pluggedit in and it heated up quickly and did a fantastic job of picking up the dirt. The only thing I dont like about it is that the cord is pretty stiff.

After reading the positive reviews, I purchased the Shark S1000 Steam Mop. With several pets, I needed something that was easy to use and efficient! This mop has surpassed my expectations. Also, it was super easy to assemble. So far, Im extremely happy with my purchase.

I use Shark vacuum cleaners and steam mops frequently, and Ive got to say, they are so reliable. Ive become a real fan, and highly recommend.

Very easy to use love the fact that it stands up by itself. The pads are durable and velco is very good.

I have to admit, at first I was very disappointed. It had been plugged in for a couple of minutes and no matter how many times I pumped the handle, nothing. Mop pad was not only dry, but it was cool to the touch. I re read the instructions and couldnt come up with any steps I had missed or anything I had done wrong. I took off the water tank and reinsert it at least 15 times. I thought it was a frustrating end to a very frustrating day. Then, for some reason, even though I had heard both ends of the pole click, I just pushed down really, really hard! Suddenly, instead of silence, I heard the sounds of steam! It took over 45 minutes, but I had a working steam mop! The first place I used it was on my bathroom floor. I use hairspray and I had that coating of hairspray on my floor. Months of buildup gone in a VERY short while! I love how it got rid of the dirty strip by the baseboard that I normally have to take a toothbrush to get it clean! It even sanitizes and cleans at the base of the toilet that gets nasty! Then, I moved to the kitchen! Dried, stuck on stuff on the floor came right up! I am in love!!! It is a new workhorse in my cleaning arsenal!

I was a bit worried by some of the reviews after I ordered this. I am glad I ordered it! It is so easy! I will never use a mop again. I did my entire house with one tank, I ordered extra pads from a different (generic but well-rated) brand which worked great, maybe better than the pads I got but at least as good. I tested this at work first because that is where I ship my orders and it cut through all the dirt, at work because they have wax or layer of dirt on some of those older linoleum tile floors it was harder to push, it did cut through the grime on the floors that even oxyclean and bleach does not remove. My own floors at home were much easier. When you push the handle it activates the steam so when you push forward it sends steam, it is not hard to push either, very natural in the way they did this. By other reviews, I read there was a switch or lever that was hard to push but that is not true. It was easy, it is light and though the tank is small you do not use much water. I am now looking at handheld steamers for other areas because I love this so much. I also want to add it stands up on its own. The cord could be longer but its not a deal-breaker. I can steam 2 rooms and then I have to unplug. What would be nice is a cordless version! I love this almost as much as I love my Dyson V10. It cleaned my hardwoods nicely. I like that I am not using any chemicals and it is great for cleaning after dogs. I cant wait to try it on my basement steps!
