It doesnt produce much steam. Prior to this model I had one with 3 option buttons for steam. It worked better, (and it had a longer cord.)

I usually choose either Shark or Bissell floor products. I wish I had gone with Bissell when I purchased a floor steam cleaner. I have 3300 sf of floors to clean and the water container on this Shark product is so small, I have to refill it for each room. It feels cheaply made, too, but I didnt order the most expensive machine, so I feel like Im getting what I paid for. It cleans the floors, both my tile and laminate, and with 7 dogs in the house, I really need it. It did also get a pet stain off one of my area rugs, so that was a pleasant surprise. Would I order it again? Probably not. It feels so cheaply made that Im afraid if I put too much pressure on it, Ill break it. I need a MUCH longer cord and a larger water container. I think it would be perfect for a small apartment/condo, but not for a larger home. Also, whoever delivered it left it outside my gate in a SEVERE thunderstorm. By the time I got to it, the box and inside instructions, as well as the cleaning pads were soaking wet. Not happy with the delivery company.

My steam mop just arrived half an hour ago and I could NOT wait to use it!! We just moved into a house last weekend and the floors (quite frankly everything in the house) are so dirty! Our last house had cheap laminate and you could only get away with spot cleaning and using one of those cheap swiffers. Since we have better flooring I decided to make an investment. Now, I will say, this isn’t a huge investment. It’s only $50. But it’s the BEST $50 I’ve spent alone. I was almost worried about the quality since most steam mops run almost $100. But the price here does not reflect the work quality of the mop. I just used it in my kitchen(sealed tile) and mind you, I used a swiffer three days ago(3 swiffer wet pads, should I say. The floors were nasty..like turn your cleaning pads black-nasty). I didn’t expect this steam mop to have to clean much more. But I was wrong. Check out the pictures. In short, buy it. You won’t regret it. It’s super lightweight. It has a rotating head, so it’s super easy to maneuver around table legs and chairs, corners, etc) The cord length is enough for one rooms reach The pump action is literally the easiest thing in the world(it only has to be pumped down an inch Instructions are easy to navigate Just buy it.

I am a fan of using steam to clean my floors, especially ceramic tiles. The unit works well, is easy to fill, and is very maneuverable. I would recommend.

So I am old fashioned and have a firm belief that your not really cleaning your floors unless you are hand scrubbing… However while I’m still young I am getting older (32) and found that I can’t spend two days doubled over after hand scrubbing my floor anymore. So I did a lot of research and ended up purchasing this. I purchased it because it seems heavy duty and earth friendly. (I don’t have to constantly make waste by buying covers like the swifter or get refills of toxic cleansers) It comes with two washable rags. They are durable and hold up in the washer. The container holds enough water to clean two rooms. However the cord is a little short so I do have to move the plug from room to room. This thing store in an easy enough spot where I can steam my floor every other day (I’m type A with serious OCD). I love it and feel like my floors are about as clean as if I hand washed them myself.

This is my first steam mop so it took a few minutes to figure out how to work it since there are not buttons. After that pretty easy. The cord is long enough I suppose. I do wish it was cordless. But this version will do. It gets my laminated wood floors clean!

I almost had to send this back. Had it put together in 2 minutes, very easy. Filled the water chamber, plugged it in, the little light came on and nothing.... I re read the instructions, I re positioned the water chamber, and then, I got so frustrated I slammed it on the floor and guess what?? It started working! Not sure what that was all about, but once it started working, I never had another problem. So thats why 4 not 5 stars. It did a great job cleaning my very dirty floors. I have 3 dogs who slobber and this works great on cleaning up their mess!
