> 24 hourThe red is fixed. The blue offers a small amount of pivot. The yellow offers the most pivot. Yellow is probably best/safest for most riders regardless of experience level. Blue are working well for me now but I’ll likely get yellow when they wear out.

> 24 hourI just replaced my Shimano cleats (finally). Frankly, what took me so long. I had become used to my foot slipping around in the cleat, difficulty getting in and out of the cleats, foot coming out of the cleat on occassion and finally had enough. Wow! putting these new cleats on was like getting an entirely new cycling experience. Very very happy with fresh cleats. I also looked at the other reviews and my experience with these cleats. Seems that the fact is they are great when they are in good condition. So I am now conciously trying to not walk on them. Along with this purchase I bought cleat covers, which I have never used before. Carrying them in my back pocket and putting them on and off is a new habit I am working on. Hopefully that will extend the life of the cleats. Just for the record, I live in the Virgin Islands, ride 1-2hours most days and got about 2 years of life out of my last set. The roads here are rough and I probably walked too much on them on and off roads. One of my friends here covers his Shimano cleats religiously. They look like new and he has been riding them for years happily.

> 24 hourGood product, used before. Cheaper here than other websites. I cant comment on ease of getting them on as I had my partner do that for me. Great product that lasts well. Wouldnt use any other.

> 24 hourAs with other reviewers, I too experienced one of the yellow tab (rear) falling off less than one week after installation, and with the only walking (other than putting a foot down at a stoplight) being indoors and with covers at that. While it doesnt directly affect the function of the cleat (they work perfectly in that regard), Im sure they offer some anti-slip protection on slick floor surfaces (in the instance(s) where Im too lazy to put the covers on), in addition to being the wear indicators. I am quite disappointed with these, as previous pairs that have lasted for several years --and endured much more actual abuse-- before the little yellow tabs ultimately eroded away. Definitely not the same quality of these Shimano cleats that I have gotten used to over the past decade. Devfi

> 24 hourRidiculous that this is nonrefundable even if unused and in original packaging. For someone unfamiliar with cycling, buying things like this is a minefield to try to get right. Sure its not the companys fault that I ordered the wrong thing, but I have never before been unable to return an unwanted, unused item to a retailer! Poor form. Wont be buying from this brand again.
