Einfach klasse Mikrofon aber für die Leute die es noch nie mit XLR mikrofonen zu tun hatten denkt dran euch ein XLR kabel zu kaufen sowie einen Mixer bzw. ein Mischpult, da beim Mikrofon kein Kabel dabei ist leider. This is a great vocal mic for powerful vocals. It adds a thickness and richness that fattens up thin singers. In quiet lower registers, it can be a tad muddy even with the LF rolloff engaged and an HPF on the preamp. For quiet detailed vox you are better of with a condenser. But it is fantastic in the mids and upper mids when youre singing with power into it. Adds really nice color. You will need a clean, high-gain preamp to drive it. And, even beyond the preamp gain and noise floor, the sound quality of the mic is very preamp-dependent. Specifically, the input impedance of the pre matters a lot. My preamp has continuously variable impedance, and the tonal character of the mic varies significantly based upon these settings. If you set the impedance right, you can minimize the low end mud to some degree and really open up the overall sound of the mic, enabling you I relax your voice more as you sing into it and add vibrance and openness to the sound. In a nutshell, Id want anothe option (a good LDC) for vox at my disposal in my studio as opposed to using this for everything, but it will give you a great texture and fullness like no other mic on certain vocal styles.

Ive owned over 10 XLR microphones in the past 5 years, and with having this microphone for over a year now I can say its the best of the lot and wont see myself upgrading for a long time to come. Are there better microphones out there? Probably, but is this the best one for the price? Absolutely!

So this microphone is claiming to be like such a good microphone, and a lot of people use it. But what they don’t tell you is that you need to buy a an additional part to make the microphone pick up sound. Because this is a condensing microphone you need to buy an additional hundred dollar box called a cloud lifter to make it even pick up any type of talking on most interfaces. For example, I had an FL studio daw and I use a focusrite scarlet, and I had to crank the gain all the way up just to get this microphone to pick up me talking. Unless you’re right up on the microphone, you can’t hear yourself without a cloud lifter. So my advice is, despite what everybody says about this microphone being amazing I disagree. My scarlet microphone that came with my focusrite scarlet interface just sounds better and doesn’t need external power. So if you do buy this, buy the cloudlifter with it or it will not work.

Realmente quede impactado con la calidad y el rango de frecuencia, se escucha muy profesional, lo malo es que necesita un poco más de ganancia que un microfono normal, actualmente lo uso para cantar en Vivo en lugares cerrados.
