> 3 dayI researched mics forever before buying this one. It is an industry standard for voice over work and for micing instruments and recording lead vocals. Used in studios coast to coast. Very flat EQ (which is excellent). Great build quality. Super clear, life-like reproduction. Be warned that it is a gain hog, though. Needs tons of gain. Im using it with a Focusrite interface and needed to add a Cloudlifter CL-1 to add some clean gain. The CL-1 is a little miracle. Worth the $150 for an extra 25dB of pristine gain. Couldnt be happier with this mic. Spend the extra $ and grab one.

> 3 dayI bought this because a friend had purchased one a few weeks ago. After I heard how it sounded, it made the mic that I had been using sound like a piece of junk. It sounds phenomenal, and its a Shure, so its built like a tank.

> 3 dayQuizá sea el micrófono más recomendado y más veces visto en los streamings de famosos y tal... Perfectamente hay muchsísimos otros excelentes en el mercado pero el shure sm7b es el que todos quieren por que no paran de verlo por todos lados. Quizá haya mucho de moda, pero lo cierto es que este micrófono graba con una calidad y un tono tan agradable que es mi micrófono principal casi todo el tiempo.

> 3 dayThis mic sounds as good as I expected it to. Definitely get the Cloudlifter, too, because once you hear it with one youll see how much better it sounds.

> 3 dayIve had this mic for a good while now and I dont regret buying it at all! It sounds great on my voice and its high quality. I think my biggest gripe is spending so much on a microphone that I dont really need for professional use right now. Perhaps in the future when I need to do voice recordings for videos or a podcast, but for now Im using it casually and I dont regret it either. Im thoroughly happy with it :)
