Setting up and getting everything plugged in was very fast and simple. After setup and playing with the TC-Helicon GoXLR, my sound quality has noticeably improved. After years of using cheaper options, I would say to anyone, if you have the budget and would like solid sound quality, get it.

The SM7b has been my dream mic and I was so happy to finally get it. However, if you are just switching from USB to XLR mics for the first time like me, it is a lot more of a journey/expense than you may think!

Sounds better than my previous one it’s a good hype about it since everyone has one it’s a legit great mic overall

I had a Rode Pod Mic before buying this one and i was really happy with it for years, but i needed a new one for more precision and that exactly what i was looking for ! The only thing id would say is that xlr connector is way to high on the shaft and block the mobility form right to left on my Blue Boom Arm so im a bit limited.
