Im the farthest from an expert or a professional and maybe spending that much money on a mic for a hobby than wont get me any money might be a stupid decision. But f me if I dont feel good af for having a top quality mic just hanging from an also expensive mic arm. If you can afford it, go for it, youll feel great even if you dont use it as much as one should to make it worth the price.

Classic microphone for every purpose connected to voice. Needs a pre-amp of about 60dB clean gain. What can I say, this thing is awesome. Build is great, it feels solid and sounds awesome. Would recommend!

Wow ! This mic is outstanding ! I had another shure mic that I thought was great until i got this one . This microphone is quality! The sound quality this picks up is outstanding.

I researched mics forever before buying this one. It is an industry standard for voice over work and for micing instruments and recording lead vocals. Used in studios coast to coast. Very flat EQ (which is excellent). Great build quality. Super clear, life-like reproduction. Be warned that it is a gain hog, though. Needs tons of gain. Im using it with a Focusrite interface and needed to add a Cloudlifter CL-1 to add some clean gain. The CL-1 is a little miracle. Worth the $150 for an extra 25dB of pristine gain. Couldnt be happier with this mic. Spend the extra $ and grab one.

VERY disappointed with this mic. There are so many out there that are far better.
