The electrical engineering is good, the mechanical engineering is below average for such an expensive unit. Its an embarrassment.

I am skeptical about buying this type of equipment on Amazon because there are so many counterfeits. However this microphone his legit. It sounds fine, it’s good quality. The only thing I definitely recommend is that you buy a cloud lifter. I am using this microphone with a Rodecaster and it does pick up the mic on the podmic setting and it doesn’t sound bad but I can hear a distortion. In other words it has the dB to make the sound audible, however for the best sound use the cloud lifter.

Le Shure Sm7b est probablement le meilleur micro dynamique du marché. Un son clair même sans réglage particulier. A noté quil nest pas vendu avec le câble et que pour fonctionner il a besoin dun branchement XLR.

El tema del audio es muy subjetivo, cada quién aprecia los sonidos de manera distinta, personalmente su sonido vírgen no me agrada, comparado con el SM58 qué es del mismo tipo de micrófono y nueve veces más barato, su compra me provoca casi arrepentimiento. Sin embargo sí que destaca en canto, esa para mí es su única utilidad. No voy a mentir, es bastante estético, algún creador de contenido norteamericano le dió popularidad y ahora lo vemos por doquier porque es muy atractivo a la vista. Para darle ese sonido peculiar de creadores de contenido necesita varios postprocesos que necesitarán un mayor gasto en equipo adicional. Su relación calidad-precio es mala.

I dont have much to add. just wanted to say this peace is amazing. I record singing with it, and it makes my voice sound worm and beautiful. Im totally in love with this mice. I had the Sure 58, and it was fun to start with, but it kept on getting all these popping noise. this one does not record any noise but your voice!! a real pleasure.

I had been thinking of being a Rode mic but was swayed into spending an extra £200 by online reviews. I am glad I did. I am a pro songwriter and music teacher and this mic is exactly what I need in my studio. I have used it to record many different voices without once adjusting the gain (which needs to b set quite high even for belt style singing). I have also used it for recording narration and the sound was perfect when set to flat. I havent had to put on the low pass filter yet. It actually improved the acoustic of my studio as my previous vocal mic, a condenser, emited a frequency which meant it needed to be unplugged if I was using a video camera.
