> 24 hourThis is the 2nd one that I bought to add to my simplisafe system for my shop and it still is not loud enough. The shop is an open 1,000 sq ft. I wanted it to be too loud for thieves to even come in the shop and I dont think Im there yet.

> 24 hourI just bought and received this siren for SimpliSafe. Installing it was a breeze like a SimpliSafe products. However, the siren did not work properly. So I called SimpliSafe and spent the next half hour trying to solve the problem. They could not solve the problem so instead of returning it back to Amazon, they said they will send me a replacement product that I will have to exchange and send back the defective one. So buyers beware of this issue as this is the second time it has happen. Instead of buying it on Amazon, buy it from SimpliSafe instead. You may not be getting a brand new or refurbished one instead. Lessons be learned……

> 24 hourWe got broken into. Unfortunately we didnt have a system at that time, so we did some research and settled on simplisafe. I got the extra siren to put in the garage. OMG its so loud. My poor dogs ran for the hills when we tested it. Im sure the neighbors hated it. Its a must have if you have a two or more story house. The door chime from the base is not loud enough for me to hear downstairs, where I spend most of my time, unless Im listening for it. So we got another one for downstairs. The great part of these sirens are they are adjustable. My siren downstairs will not sound so loudly if the alarm is triggered, and I can hear the door chimes to know if someone has entered my house. The best part is they are so reasonably priced. As crazy as it sounds, I plan on buying 6 more. Three outside the back of my house, three outside the front of my house. Ill wake my whole neighborhood! Weve had enough of these break ins. Kinda hard to get away when the entire neighborhood is standing on their porch watching you run.

> 24 hourI wish that it had a vocal processor like the base unit.

> 24 hourPurchased to provide siren in area of house away from the main controller and could be heard from the bedrooms. This is more than ample.

> 24 hourInstallation is just as easy as any other Simplisafe device. Pull the tab, push the button, select a room. Done. After that used the stickies on the back to fix it to the wall and it hasnt budged since. It will give an audible warning just like the keypad as soon as the alarm timer is started. Havent tested the actual alarm going off, but Ive been told its extremely loud, so I adjusted the volume down a bit so I dont have a heartattack AND ruptured eardrums if/when this goes off in the middle of the night.

> 24 hourFalse advertising to start with. I bought this because the volume on the base station is so low i cant hear tge door chimes or count downs unless im in the same room with it. This unit is supposedly so loud it hurts your ears!!! Yeah no... its not. It doesnt reiterate the arming and disarming notifications, and the chimes and countdowns are lower volume than the base station. The alarm itself has some umph to it as compared to tge base, but its nothing like as described. And yes, i turned the volume all the way up in the settings for all functions. For $60 this thing sucks. If it was $15 it would get 5 stars because id be able to buy several of them for throughout the home. It is what it is, nothing more nothing less. Dont believe the lies, which come directly from simplisafe, by the way.
