SimpliSafe 105dB Auxiliary Siren - Compatible with Gen 3 Home Security System

Only had it for a short bit but works well. I didnt realize it beeps when then count down timer starts which is a very nice surprise.

Installation is just as easy as any other Simplisafe device. Pull the tab, push the button, select a room. Done. After that used the stickies on the back to fix it to the wall and it hasnt budged since. It will give an audible warning just like the keypad as soon as the alarm timer is started. Havent tested the actual alarm going off, but Ive been told its extremely loud, so I adjusted the volume down a bit so I dont have a heartattack AND ruptured eardrums if/when this goes off in the middle of the night.

This is my second wireless siren for my second system. Anyone trying to break into a protected home will get a big surprise. SimpliSafe makes a great homeowner installed system.

How SMOKES. I installed this for our SimpliSafe alarm system, as the base served as the alarm. Enough to wake you, but not what I was after. Its installed at the front door: thought wife had turned off security when I opened the door....DANG! Im 82nd Airborne and very use to operating under loud conditions, BUT...I could barely keep it together to deactivate the alarm on the keypad. LOVE IT!!

Easy to install. If any door sensor is triggered the alarm starts a audible countdown. If the alarm is not deactivated the alarm sounds and police are notified. I have two alarms -one on the 1st fl and one on the 2nd fl. Nice product-gives you some peace of mind with all of crime going on.

This siren performed way better than I had anticipated. It comes with sticky tape to install but this siren is a little heavy and it fell off in the middle of the night making a crashing sound which freaked us out, so when installing make sure you screw it into the wall and not use the sticky tape

Battery life is about a week. I changed the spot and now I have zero issues

Alarm will scare any person who activates it. The sound its almost the double as the original base alarm. If your house is small, place it in a good outdoor hidden place.

Not as loud as my car horn. But I guess it would startle an intruder and alert them that their presence has sensed and security noticed.

Put this into my daughters house, Motion and Video. Now she can feel safe whether at home or away.
