SimpliSafe 105dB Auxiliary Siren - Compatible with Gen 3 Home Security System

I just bought and received this siren for SimpliSafe. Installing it was a breeze like a SimpliSafe products. However, the siren did not work properly. So I called SimpliSafe and spent the next half hour trying to solve the problem. They could not solve the problem so instead of returning it back to Amazon, they said they will send me a replacement product that I will have to exchange and send back the defective one. So buyers beware of this issue as this is the second time it has happen. Instead of buying it on Amazon, buy it from SimpliSafe instead. You may not be getting a brand new or refurbished one instead. Lessons be learned……

Easy to install and great to have for external alarm.

This sucker is loud! Would wake me from death, I think. Paired easily with my Simplisafe system

The siren was easy to couple into my system. Mine is mounted outside but in a sheltered area. Mounting was easy using 2 screws. Did not use 3M tape since the surface was rough. Have not tested the siren but hope its as loud as the description states.

Worked about month and stopped working

This is my second wireless siren for my second system. Anyone trying to break into a protected home will get a big surprise. SimpliSafe makes a great homeowner installed system.

I like how it also chimes when the base station does.

Easy to install.I have a walkout basement that’s finished. The control unit is upstairs and sound wouldn’t be much do Scaraway somebody breaks in the basement. Siren I just sat on the table and with the motion detectors there it would be the first thing to go off and scare them back out the door.
