Loud Way loud More loud than you expect/need

It was easy to install and motion detection was great and loud.

I wasn’t impressed with the siren on the base station. So I ordered this. All I can say is this is freaking LOUD! I mean it’s so loud you can’t even hear the base station siren when they are going off together. Easily the best purchase you can make for your SimpliSafe. Just be careful. The warning is real. It will definitely cause hearing loss if you are around it to close. (Note: I play Xbox with a headset and I can’t hear anything or anyone with my headset on. My wife used to get upset that I wouldn’t hear anyone breaking into the house. But with this siren I can easily hear it, even with my headset on full blast!)

Easy to install

I wanted a loud siren and this is really painfully loud (which is good). I worked for years in the touring rock & roll music business. I know what loud is. A very good addition to my Simplisafe system. Highly recommended.

105dB sounds like a lot, but apparently not. It needs to be louder.

The auxiliary siren was easy to install and setup. I can’t hear the base unit with my home office door closed, so I installed the siren in my office. I setup the siren to chirp whenever an entry sensor is opened so I can hear whenever my kids go in and out of the house.

So easy to install and SIGNIFICANTLY louder than the home base alarm.

Siren is very easy to setup just like all simplisafe products.However it is not nearly as loud as advertised especially if mounted outside.
