> 3 dayI upgraded to this drive from a 12 year old samsung drive. When I booted it up for the first time, it actually moved me to tears... easily 50x faster than what I have been used to for years could not be more satisfied at this time

> 3 dayOnce I got it running, it was great. But it took four hours of struggling with my system to even get ANYTHING to boot when it was plugged into the M.2 slot.

Greater than one weekPopped this into my 2015 Retina Macbook Pro dual graphics and easily doubled my storage. Works with boot camp and Big Sur natively. No firmware update needed like on the 1TB version for it to work with Mac. Battery life seems pretty similar to before, but it is early.

> 3 dayVery easy to install, the warranty is really nice ( although I have not had to use it ) and the price is nice, compared to other drives the speed it better on everyday tasks you won’t notice a difference.

> 3 dayIf you plan to expand or clone your current drive then you need buy or find a software that will clone your drive. The thing is Samsung comes with the software for free and it’s super easy to clone using the Samsung software. This ssd also runs extremely hot. I would recommend the Samsung one when it goes on sale.

09-06-2025$145 for 2TB seemed like a good deal, too bad that BOTH P31s Ive tried have inconsistent performance issues on Apples latest hardware. Most of the time, the drive struggles to achieve 500MB/S. While it can speed up after use, restarting the mac it slows back down again. Ive tried multiple Thunderbolt enclosures, and unfortunately they all have the same issue. Samsung and Sabrent SSDs have no issue.
