> 3 dayI originally got a 500gb version to upgrade my 2015 15in Macbook Pro (that didnt work out as well as I thought, turns out Apple will refuse to give EFI updates unless if the computer has the original SSD installed so this drive has been sitting in a box since I swapped back to the OG drive). The newer drives have a black PCB, but I got an older drive back when SK Hynix only offered this drive with a green PCB. It also came with an older firmware, which to my understanding you do need the latest firmware to upgrade the storage in a Macbook, so just a heads up. The drive does perform very well, but 4 stars because I got the older green PCB version despite the product page moving on to the newer black PCB version

> 3 dayI picked up this one because it was on sale and not knowing it is not compatible with MacOS. I tried it on several NVMe 40Gbps Thunderbolt 3 enclosures but the SSD fails to be recognized by my Macbook Pro (running the latest MacOS Big Sur 11.3.1). It remains undetected by the Disk Utility, so there is no way to initialize it.

> 3 daySpeeds, as advertised and was super easy to install EXCEPT the screw that came on my Mobo, was VERY small so handle with care. Wish it would come with extra screws. I used Macrium Reflect Free to clone my old drive. TIP: make sure you extend the drive in partition manager after you close if you are upgrading from a smaller drive.

> 3 dayThe MSI GL62M series of notebooks offers a dual M2 slot SATA/PCI-e. Using the PCI-e option as a boot drive requires some effort; but, the problem is not in the SK hynix. It has to do with the bios and configuration of of the computer.
